The design itself I like, but the over the top color palet really kills it.

Listen, I'm no stranger to weird art and stupidly over-the-top shit, I spent a good portion of my days watching adult swim and gook toons in high school, but GOD DAMN, this shit makes my eyes bleed. It's like if Superjail farted all over Invader Zim.

The animation is very fluid, so I’ll give it that, but the colors all consisting of either red, white or black really kills it and makes it feel bland, despite being consistent.
But I just fucking know people are going to make porn of that kind-of-cute main character.

As someone that likes weird animation...I didnt like it here, the actual animation itself looks choppy, meanwhile you get distracting backgrounds with way too much going on. The color palette is just obnoxious, and I never liked how Viz's characters tend to all look alike.

My issue with her characters is that she's trying really hard to prove to us that her characters are all intricate and insane. Now compare that to say...anything Yuasa makes where the weirdness just fells like it's a natural part of the work as opposed to the artist screaming LOOK HOW DAMN QUIRKY I AM Kengle-style.

one of my many gripes on her style and her take on hell seems...weird? i get she's trying to use warm colors but there's other colors you can use. like, she can use other color palettes but for some reason she ends up doing stuff like this.

Don't forget Sylvia from Fire Emblem 4. I know she's a dancer and that class wears skimpy clothing intentionally but it doesn't change the fact that she is still a 14 year old girl running around barely clothed.
