Hated the fate Kaiju. I found it too long, over-the-top, and set up very awkwardly. I would rather have the Motorball like in the original.Finished the main story of FFVII Remake. Wasn't too shabby, though honestly, the fate kaiju would have made a better final final boss
I think Arkham City is the easier game to revisit. Asylum was good, really good when it came out* but there's a bit of clonk and wonk with it that they ironed out with City.I beat Arkham Asylum again earlier this week. The game still holds up, I just wish the final boss fight was...well, an actual boss fight.
Started Arkham City again. I'll beat it and get all the Riddler secrets this time.
Yes, I 'member. It was an elegant solution to the question "How can the player fight multiple dudes and not feel bogged down?" City is definitely more in line with games today, but I kind of liked the smaller, more self-contained feel of Asylum. It felt more like a game, and less like a commitment.I think Arkham City is the easier game to revisit. Asylum was good, really good when it came out* but there's a bit of clonk and wonk with it that they ironed out with City.
*Remember how many games aped the fighting system? It was as influential as Halo or Gears of War.
