Haven't we done a "What if Chris was in the military?" thread before? I swore it was last week we had a "What if Chris went to boot camp?" thread.
Yes, we do have a "What if Chris went to boot camp" thread.

Should the two threads be merged into one, maybe make it something like "What if Chris were to join the Military" thread?

Should of remembered that post you made.

He'd gift himself the pretty girlfriend he'd been asking for...with every single attractive female within his standards.

A lot of things has changed in between 1982 and 1992, and this came up in my head. Would Christian's life be different had Bob and Barb met in '91?

Keep in mind how he would have literally grown up with Sonic if born in 1992, and would probably get into Pokemon in a reasonable age as it entered Western markets. What else would have changed? How would he function right now as a 21 year old?

He'd be making Thomas the Tank Engine mashups, and his taste in vidya would have probably been more Sony and less Nintendo. There's like a half percent chance that Borb might have given him better care, just because of how much more was known about autism toward the end of the 90s.

Otherwise... I don't think much would have changed.

There was plenty known in the mid-eighties. Borb wouldn't have given him any better care because they'd just as well choose to ignore it all.

Chris may be even worse off because his parents would have had him in their 50s and beyond.

The smell of :briefs: would signify children that he's leaving presents.

He'd be a year younger than me.

That's a really really weird thought.

But yeah, besides that, I doubt much would be different in terms of him being trolled, but he probably have a better chance to turn things around and make his life better.

Also, I bet he'd probably make a Spyro/Crash mashup instead of Sonic/Pikachu mashup.

Sprash? Cryro?

Either way, it would be an abomination.

Well, if you factor in that Chris's original diagnosis was probably around 1988, then his hypothetical diagnosis in the 90s would likely be 1998. The difference MAY have been enough to explain to Borb in constructive terms.

However, if we humor the above scenario, Barb would have to have been 10 years younger to conceive Chris, and thus would likely not be a part of the "mental issues=social shame" generation. So really, once you start to play this game, it all falls apart anyway.

LEt's hope the present Chris would kill the past Chris in hopes that he'll erase himself out of existence. :alog:

If he's that stupid of not being able to recognize his past self, than what's stopping him of not knowing about basic time travel laws?

Has anyone seen the World War Z movie?

In the movie, zombies ignore people that are already sick.

The zombies would probably not only ignore Chris but actually outright run away from him.

Chris in prison

I know that the likelihood of Chris going to prison is a matter of debate, but suppose he snapped and did something that not even the Autism card could protect him. How would Chris fare behind bars?

He'd consider Barney his childhood hero instead of the American Rabbit. And probably never grow out of it.

Re: Chris in prison

Badly.

His use of the phrase "dudes and dudettes" would be at least 70 times more frequent.
He would also probably have a mildly stronger understanding of the internet.

Imagine the things he'd try to build.

I can imagine him making Cwcville with all the buildings made of cobblestone and wood and they'd be tiny as hell. And due to his lack of playing games online he'd be the only person running around in this imaginary city in his game.

All the JERKS would get coal, while girls he has a crush on would be lavished with presents. Furthermore, he'd expect q-sands and china instead of milk and cookies.

He'd probably quit playing with Legos and spend all day playing the game.

Really badly if he starts announcing his tomgirl-ness.

Well, he'd finally be sexually sought after, just not in the way he hoped for.

Re: Chris in prison

Well, we already saw this with his stint in county jail. He'd lose his bloody mind. He was singing nonsense and talking to a sink after one night, and flatly refused to eat prison food.

I would imagine the food thing would taper off after one day, and he'd almost certainly be put into protective custody because of how socially incapable he is.

This really shouldn't be a what if in a strict sense, because unquestionably, he is going to be doing a short stint in prison someday. For something really stupid, like vandalism, or trespassing.
