Containment What If?

Chris would end up in jail on serious charges or get killed very quickly.

He'd also look really bad. He'd easily look twice his age if he survived addiction for any length of time.

I could see Chris using his Magnetron pistol as a real gun and getting shot as he tries to rob the Game Place.

He can't even drink simple 20% alcohol Kahlua without hallucinating pink spheres, so I'm sure if he did something heavy he'd start imagine the hoard was going to eat him. Or that someone spiked his  with ecstasy.

By the way, thats one drug I'd love to see him on :alog:

I've got a big bag of parsley he can buy . ;)

It would be a Life Upgrade. He'd have a legit excuse for living in squalor and not getting anywhere in life. He'd also get a crack at getting some mental health treatment in rehab, a new home and acquaintances in a halfway home, and a chance to score a sweetheart from the ground up at 12 step meetings.

My guess is that after living at 14 BLC for so long, Barb owns the house free and clear, without a mortgage. But she may have other debts that we don't know about, maybe old credit cards or back taxes or something. If she does, her creditors could file a claim against her estate when she passes. If the probate court decides the house must be sold to pay the debts, Chris has nothing.
Another possibility, less likely, is that Barb has a will that stipulates someone else (who?) stands to inherit the house and the junk.
If Barb dies intestate, Cole would be entitled to claim half her estate, since he is just as much her son as Chris. This would probably mean selling the house. He doesn't need the money, but there's no legal reason I can think of why he couldn't take it if he wanted it.
In any of the above, Chris becomes homeless. What happens next?

Chris would destroy it to show brand loyalty to Sony until he realizes he could of sold it for some money to try and buy his life upgrade 2.0 (PS4). From there, he would *SIGH* at that move he made.

I think that he'd go downhill fairly quickly. Barb might not notice as much immediately, but partially because she doesn't want to know. Mostly she'd just complain that Chris wasn't there, so Chris would end up inviting his new friends over to the house. It'd probably end with various things disappearing from the house and maybe a fight with Barb when she realizes that one of the druggies was stealing things. Chris may or may not be helping him, as the friend would probably be supplying him with drugs.

I imagine there would be a lot of posts about him being sad and lonely, but he'd probably also post some of the weirder bitstrips that would come up. For every one strip that looks to be relatively funny, there are about 80 that aren't really that interesting. Chris would probably post the ones that make little to no sense.

Wait the house isn't paid off yet?

Oh fuck.

This, CHris is just too impulsive and even if he did have the brain cells to realize this. It would be too late.

There's a mortgage and a bunch of threads on this subject.
There is?

(A mortgage, that is. Threads, we got.)

Yeah Marvin keeps saying there is a mortgage and to not always assume it's all paid off.

He'd OD quickly

That's probably a good theory. I imagine that Chris would probably make others get the drugs ready for him, but eventually he'd have to prepare them himself. He's not exactly a guy who knows how to do things in any moderation. Chris would OD and eventually screw his body up to where he has to get dialysis once a week. I can just see him now, hooked up to a dialysis machine and playing vidya.
