What is your "utopia"? What would your "perfect society" look like? - Why cant I just run the world?

The concept of a true Utopia is much like that of being omniscient. Neither goals are achievable for the simple fact that they cannot exist with their own parameters. A world where everyone is happy is a world without free will, however a world with free will will inevitably breed conflict and thus the very idea of Utopia is a farce.

I'd nuke all of Israel, several of the weakest geological points along the San Andreas Fault, Sweden, and England. After that, I'd exterminate all of the mainland Chinese, Sub-Saharan Africans, 66% of the Indian population, the Mexican Cartel, and manually purge the survivors of England and Sweden a second time just to make sure.
After that, I'd pool the world's resources into a prototype moon colony, which itself would be a test-bed for a Mars colony. Once we have established a permanent moon base, complete with high-speed comms with Earth, the Moon will be expanded into a gargantuan-scale aeronautics drydock and spacecraft harbor for Earth, as it's simply too expensive to keep launching shit out of Earth's gravity.
Once I feel that we've made sufficient gains in our colonization efforts, we begin work on subluminal, transluminal, and superluminal travel, all at once.

A human utopia can never be achieved because personal happiness is subjective.
You may experience some temporary relief if you implement the following.
Local rule and authonomy - no more "democratically" elected governments, kings, queens or presidents. Create local communities with all needed local resources. Sort by culture and ideology. Be as self sufficient as possible.
Own infrastructure, laws + enforcement, energy generation, water, food, security, medical, media, education and private currency based on potential human work hours. Trade between communities to cover shortages. Exchange man power between communities as payment for trades. In the U.S. that would mean states become independent of any government and for the rest of the world creation of "states" or regions in what are now are still countries.
Managing structure could e.g. be elected neighborhood speakers -> 3 elected mayors per town -> 5 elected managers per district -> 7 elected community managers. Each position cannot be held for more than 12 months. Voting is transparent and electronic via community intranet. All proposals can be voted upon online by anyone of legal age.
All laws, regulations and taxes are decided upon by all inhabitants. You can move or choose to live in a certain state/community but must be screened and approved by community management. Some communities could be socialist, some more capitalist. It is entirely up to them to form their own living space.

In the dystopia thread, I said Earth IRL is worst dystopia.
In contrast, the ideal world to me seems to be incredibly unrealistic: a "high fantasy" (fairy tale) world IRL. Technology evolves to be indistinguishable from magic. Or actual magic -- that somehow evaded science for thousands of years -- is somehow discovered. Evils of the past like child abuse, disease, poverty, slavery, torture, and war are more or less dark memories. Evil has far less of a stranglehold on the world as it does now. Humanity "calms the fuck down." No more Current Year Clown World.
Technology no longer erodes humanity. No Elon Musk-esque merging with machines. No pollution. Cities and towns are beautiful places in harmony with nature, where buildings are works of art. No more ugly corporate-looking buildings, cheap cookie-cutter houses, "commieblocks," or strip malls. Industrialized travel is no longer needed as the average person can just fly or teleport about, so no more motorist infrastructure, airports, or rail. Food and drink are natural, clean, and plentiful. No GMOs, high fructose corn syrup, "lab chemicals," or pesticides in them.
People are highly independent and diverse, and any nations are merely city states. This means the average citizen has far more power as a voter. There's no more push for a homogenous "one world community." Laws are the minimum necessary (not necessarily libertarianism, just the minimum law needed). Work is like what it was before the 18th century. People can work for themselves and own their own businesses easily again. No more "intellectual property" is needed, just like it wasn't needed before industry. Economies are decentralized, local, and not based on consumerism.
The average person can easily explore the universe quickly, one way or another, even if just remotely. Scientific knowledge of the universe continues, none of it kept secret for "security."
This future is a bright optimistic world, where every day can be a new adventure, and where faith in humanity is not tried daily.

the main decree I would give would be to abolish Hollywood and celebrity culture. I think a huge portion of our nation's problems stems from the mindless coveting of celebrities who glorify and engage in degeneracy, and then in turn influence a susceptible audience (mainly children and teenagers). I think a lot of subconscious anger and jealousy comes from celebrity culture as well, which ultimately gets funneled into the wrong places.

Any utopia is fundamentally impossible to achieve, because they require changes in basic human nature that are impossible to implement. Instantaneous, total eradication of all human life is the only solution that minimizes suffering in the world - if EVERYONE is dead, nobody would be around to reminisce about how things used to be.

A lot of these answers are exceptional and tyrannical. My solution would be to implement a caliphate election system. This would work by having the country’s population be divided into groups of 20 and in every group the people will elect a representative via discussion and consensus. Once all the representatives are rounded up they once again are divided into groups of 20 and elect a 2nd order representative via the same process. This cycle continues until you get an elected leader.
And also ban all forms of shirk to ensure that this system stays in power.
It is a lot like how a HEAT round has a lot kinetic energy focused on the centre of the inverted cone after detonation.
