unironically, a statement from blare white made me stop feeding into tranny delusion, even to the point i stopped considering blaire and 'based trannies' as whatever the fuck they try to present as.
blaire said something like, if there was a cure for trannyism and made them not want to transition, they would take it.

Interesting. I recall reading a study on human pheremones. Basically, women's scent (natural body odor) is attractive to straight men and straight men's scent is attractive to women. Straight men don't react to the scent of other straight men. However, the scent of homosexual men is repulsive to both men and women, but attractive to other homosexual men. I believe it was hypothesized to have something to do with the individual's hormonal balance.

Transitioning itself requires months of surgical recovery. Are they supposed to get special treatment where they have a year of leave every other year for their surgeries? What peaked me about troonery was the fact that despite using the clinical literature on dysphoria to reason their will into reality, troons show nothing but contempt towards dysphoric people.

It's no surprise since dysphoria requires you to be aware of your own biological reality after all. Sure, doesn't match the troon ideology that biological sex doesn't exist and can be changed by your own will.

Dysphoria is eerily like severe OCD except that it doesn't change its obsessional themes like OCD does and there's no clear compulsive habit that seems to curb it.

You're left with an ambiguous feeling of hyper awareness and repulsion of your own body parts and there's very little to do against those feelings beyond dissociating entirely from the body itself.

If it doesn't go away on its own or with the help of meds (which can happen when the dysphoria is a symptom of an untreated mental illness) then you're out of luck.

Dysphoria is mental illness plain and simple and now that troons managed to poison the well by policing language, discouraging scientific research on the topic, bullying institutions in deregulating treatment standards among other things, dysphoric people who do not buy into troon doublethink can't find proper care.

Queer theory and gender identity ideology is voluntary brainwashing.

I think what really peaked me is how incredibly disgusting and misogynistic your average MtF troon is and how little that is addressed outside of places like here. If a person claims that they feel they need to amputate their arm because they feel like they are supposed to be an amputee, they are encouraged to seek mental health help.

If a person claims that they feel they need to amputate their penis, or sew up their vagina because they feel like they are supposed to be a different sex than they were born as, we immediately give them hormone therapy, discuss surgical options, and come down like a ton of bricks on any bigots who suggest they should look at other options first- if its a child, they will often be actively led through this process without the parent's knowledge or consent.

So many trans people and up offing themselves- why? I'd guess it's because the underlying psychological issues are never addressed. If it's dysphoria- that means the person is unable to cope with their current physical reality- and after transitioning, that sentiment is still there, except it may manifest itself against the new current body.

...and just to confuse things even more, as of the past decade or so, transitioning has become a fetish/fad among hyper-progressives to... well it's hard to say to what extent, but it's certainly there.

It's the absolutely most insane way of dealing with the issue imaginable. Like above- if it was an arm, or wanting to be a tiger (well, that stuff is getting similar attention now too) - you'd be asked to seek psych help immediately- but if it's a penis or vagina, for some reason, we just lop it off and damn the consequences.

Remembered something today, more foundation of my peak-transing:

I'm a woman with relatively big feet, or at least feet that are inconveniently trapezoidal. Raised in unisex Birkenstocks so my feet didn't get that unofficial modern foot-binding--but that's probably the closest I get to radfem, so I digress.

Years and years ago, slightly before this Internet thing caught on, we got one of those "catalog of catalog" things in the mail. (Getting things in the mail was more exciting then, either because we didn't have the ubiquitous Internet or because I was in junior high school and didn't have bills.) You could voluntarily put yourself on catalogs' mailing lists, just for the excitement of getting free catalogs in the mail. It was another time.

One of the many catalogs was a shoe catalog for women with big feet. I'm pretty sure you can guess who they shared their mailing list with, but even the big lady's shoes catalog had a few pages in its center with breastforms, gaffes and special deals on makeup.

And then the cross-dresser catalog and the wig catalog started coming in the mail.

It was pure AGP stuff, and honestly it was interesting to see the effort and the dadbod models wearing the maid and "sexy" dresses. I was a wee thing who set out hoping for some more feminine shoes, but what I ended up getting was more valuable: ~an education.~

Interestingly, the pre-internet AGPs might have been better-served by the catalogs; there were makeup starter kits and beard concealer refills and books on how to apply makeup, presupposing no background, which as a preteen girl raised feral by progressives, I was kind of interested in learning for myself.
