I never really watched them as I don't give a shit about the game and the little I watched was just to boring.
I have the impression that he uses the word mostly when he's going on about shit at length and tries to sound smart and knowledgeable about things.

Wow... If these graphs don't send home just how much worse things have gotten for Phil in terms of awareness of his bullshit, in just the last three or four years, I don't know what would. Every bit of escalation in those words and phrases is going to be commensurate with increased exposure.

I have always found it amusing that for all of Pigroach's disdain for everything associated with Wings of Redemption, with every passing year Pigroach's vocabulary incorporates more and more Wingisms, like the aforementioned "Real Talk" and "Sneak Diss/Dissing", due to the overlap between Wings and Pigroach's chat regulars/whales/troll tippers. Pigroach probably doesn't even know that he uses so many Wingisms, he just picked them up here and there from his chat/whales/troll tippers.

He still doesn't understand it though, all he's done is disavow the "King of Hate" name he has barely used in recent years and declare it to be the scapegoat for his bad rap (to be fair it was cringe/edgelord-y and did need to go). This won't help much since "DarkSydePhil" is also radioactive beyond belief and his channel's metrics don't look good to an uninformed observer (poor views and subscribers, not sure how his view / subscriber ratio stacks up or if sponsors care). If he wanted to make a clean break from his awful online rep he'd have either cleaned up his act whenever he ditched the "King of Hate" name or also disavowed "DSP" during today's stream as well.

He'd need to start again from a blank slate, under a new name and a new channel with none of his "legacy" to stand on. As long as he holds on being "DarkSydePhil", he will always have the stink around him. Anyone who knew him as "tkoh" knew him as dsp, so getting rid of the former doesn't make a difference as everyone who knows of him knows him as the toxic manlet dsp, not as "tkoh".

He could drop the nickname of DSP and still be fucked. People's memories aren't going away, and especially neither is the detractor community. Not to mention that even if people DID forget, that's going to last all of five seconds as soon as they tune into a pre-stream and he's talking about dropping a giant shit log.
Phil would be lucky to pull off a redemption arc if he earnestly tried to, and he's obviously not on his way to doing that.

This whole entire mini arc (precursor to the upcoming insanity arc perhaps?) reminds me of how Phil will always constantly debunk how he used to call his fan base "The Hate Army" all the time. Whilst it is true that he constantly hounds the fact that he hasn't done so in many years, you can go back as few as six years ago to where he's referred to them as such in a video, from there he's used it a multitude of times going back to his pre Machinima days.
The fact that his fans have brought up the name so many times in recent memory is because Phil would use that term as way to make a call to action, it's stuck with some of them and obviously that impression has left them thinking that if they want to see themselves as a bunch of true and honest fans, then why not refer to their community as something of an extension of their great leader, the King Of Hate? Makes perfect sense, I mean ffs he's managed to used the name of his forum for almost a decade at this point.
Phil will never get this association with that name off his back, ever. He used to pride himself with it, and not only names but impressions stay with people. I'm sure all the people who've had the unfortunate encounter of meeting pigroach would never suggest that Phil can't possibly be such a hateful and toxic person, nope.
