Was reminded the other day that DSP said:
"Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you."
Had a good chuckle.

Omg he really did say that, imagining him talking like this to Kat IRL is not enough to make me chuckle but it did made me exhale through my nose and smile for a second. He's recently been using the phrase "schools of thought" when referring to if viewers are either disliking or liking his game. I really don't get why he uses stuff like that, it's not like his viewers are impressed, since they make fun of him when he uses phrasing like that.
And all I can picture is a thought bubble over him with school buildings swimming aroundHe's recently been using the phrase "schools of thought" when referring to if viewers are either disliking or liking his game. To be fair, I’ve heard an honors student from *insert prodigious US high school here* pronounce it like that.Tarot card
TAR-ROT card
Rhymes with carrot.
Valedictorian here.

But they probably weren't valedictorians and made everyone in the audience cry and give a standing ovation and mob the stage afterwards in a moment of europhoria they got from hearing the speech to heap praise on them.To be fair, I’ve heard an honors student from *insert prodigious US high school here* pronounce it like that.
If you recall, he said his speech was something like, "High school isn't about learning anything. It's about making friends and partying. The friendships and fun is what high school is all about."But they probably weren't valedictorians and made everyone in the audience cry and give a standing ovation and mob the stage afterwards in a moment of europhoria they got from hearing the speech to heap praise on them.

Friendships and fun? Phil?
Now I KNOW that story is bullshit. He doesn't understand a damn thing about either one, and doesn't care to either.
Also, picturing him even giving a speech in front of so many people is about as difficult for me as it is for him to make it through Dark Souls without looking at the chat literally thousands of times even when it's supposed to be a "redemption run".
Pronounces mochi as MOE-KEY
I thought he was obsessive about pronouncing words as they are spelled. This is a case where it's pronounced exactly like it's spelled. Maybe because it's Asian, he needs to mangle the pronounciation.
Yeah, the gacha term was borrowed from TCGs as far as I know.In the recent rant he had about trading card collection, I thought it was interesting that he used the term "pulled" to refer to getting a certain random card you want from the pack you purchase. Is that how people talk about trading cards or is it his gacha-addiction spilling over into his everyday speech via Freudian slip?
Just recently, he repeatedly pronounces the "s" in Illinois when talking about one of the Midwest fgc tournaments from the mid 2000s.
