I've always found this argument a little odd. Never mind that it's putting a lot of emphasis on American culture (is a Eurofag really going to remember 9/11 like an American would?), but someone born in '93 might not remember 9/11 because they didn't watch it live or didn't understand what was happening. I have plenty of friends who claim to not remember anything of substance before 3rd grade.

The way I see it, a unique board just for zoomers sounds like incessant millennial bitching, reminds me of the boomer-millennial relationship, who ironically always complain about being viewed as lesser from them as if they need validation from some old bastard. I, for one, don't see the point. Cows know no race, sex, and certainly no age. I don't think ILJ's issues are particularly tied to her zoomerdom. Yes, she's a fucked-up degenerate /b/tarded edgelord, but those have existed for years and the fact that a new generation is still getting into this shit is not particularly noteworthy.
Zoomers have their own distinctive fucked-upness that's already been documented all over the place, but if anything ILJ is distinctive in that she doesn't really exhibit much of this and is clearly rebelling against it.

To all the zoomers sperging out about every generation being dumb. Let me frame this differently for you from a millennial perspective.
As a younin, I had to hide my internet activity from people I knew. Most of us did. We found little communities like /b/ or now the farms. I NEVER met anyone who understood or would partake in my trolling endeavors or general internet shenanigans irl. If I went to a university back in 2009 and tried to start a group IRL with local kids. Chances are, they wouldn't be cool with videos starring a man and a broken jar, or laughing at cows, or watching gore videos. I would be labeled and treated as a pariah. That's how it should be.
Now, we have normalfag tier channels on youtube that boil down the videos and events from back in my day, and everyone knows about them. All the kids have seen the cartel videos. They all watch dickgirl pr0n or legally questionable anime porn. Somehow, there was an irl group formed locally that seeming accepted all of Bellas alleged character flaws and "intrests". To top this off, her and her clique are normalfags. They weren't intellectuals or spergs looking for an outlet like most of us 2000s newfags. These are NPC tier people.
Gender identity shit aside. If the roles were switched, you'd be surprised by the amount of us oldheads that wouldn't partake in public. The whole "girls watching porn" thing is a zoomer thing. Most millennial girls didn't watch porn really. Event the slutty ones thought porn was too taboo. Some didn't even really masturbate. Now they openly talk about liking incest and shota/loli, and nobody cares. Back in my day, you would get exiled for talking to a girl that was into that shit. Now its just normal.
I am around zoomers a lot, granted they are zoomers that actually go outside. But, they seem to fit into 4 categories.
1. The most common variant is what I call the "Identity chrisis zoomer". They encompass their entire being around a couple interests and try to be original by dressing like a 90s special ed kid or an 80s horror movie character stereotype. They are knowledgeable about their cultural intrests, which gives them a false sense of intelligence and as a result they sound really smart when talking about niche shit. Outside of that they are smoothbrained. These kids are usually either very far left politically or very far right. But they preach only what their favorite people online preach about. They will defend their non-sensical ideals to the death. They typically are gay and VERY open about it.
2. "The TBI"... These kids have smoked, snorted and fucked themselves retarded. They are NEVER sober, and haven't been since they were 10. They usually come from a shitty household with gen x parents who didn't give a fuck about them using drugs. Most would even do drugs with their kids openly. We had a couple of these kids back in my day, but it wasn't normal. This variant is ignorant and proud. They don't care about your opinions at all. They think they are better and more successful than everyone. Like the Identity Crisis Zoomer. This Zoomer knows EVERYTHING about drugs and drug culture. They know every method of ingesting drugs and are keen on how to outsmart the state. Ironically, these Zoomers are typically the least degenerate out of the 4. They are sex fiends and pervs by yesterdays standards. But usually don't get into the more degen subcultures and categories.
3. "The broken toys" and "Misfit toys". These are usually a mix of the others, but the key difference being that they come off like the emo kids of yesteryear. They took the mid-2000s emo boy and said "this isn't feminine enough". Then they took the emo female and went full stripper. The times and style has changed a bit, but the background of the Misfit toys has not. Suburban kids who somehow have the hardest life ever despite having everything they want. Daddy even let you dress like a faggot. They listen to the trash that even scene kids wouldn't touch. Numetal is a relatively new fad among these kids. These kids are usually the most degenerate and detached from reality. They are often Ironic nazis. The girls of this group all want to fuck their dad and probably have.
4. "The autist"... This one wants to be an anomaly, but ironically has made themselves a carbon copy. These kids are the ones on discord screaming about their pronouns. The male variant usually likes to wear his sister clothes and advertise their scrawny body as something called a "femboy". This is seemingly a response to their lack of attention from the other 3 variants. They can be on either side of the isle politically. Usually it depends on their genitals. Girls are left, Boys are right. Both are a stain on the face of the earth. They are often the loudest and most annoying of the 4 variants.
The funny part here is, they are all usually into the same shit. They all do the same things. The only thing that separates them socially is their false identity.
Here is my theory as to why zoomers are the way they are.
My generations were some of last kids to grow up without a constant internet presence in our lives. Our parents made us go outside with a "I don't care what you do as long as you do it outside the house" mentality. Zoomers have no identity because all facets of unique Identity are gone. You cant be "alternative" when everything is alternative. Everything is homogenous and its just going to get more homogenous as time passes. They have a crippling addiction to social media. So much so that they clearly have no problem connecting their personal life with their internet life. Their lives are ruled by clout, internet points and a nihlistic "progress" driven society. Most responses I get from zoomers is "Whats it matter? The world will be over by the time I'm 30".

I would say Generation X is probably complaining more about zoomers than millennials are. But it's fairly irrelevant. Point is obviously separating the threads by generation would equate to complete idiocrasy for a multitude of reasons that would take too long for me to write.

I’m either a baby Gen X or ancient Millennial depending on where you argue they end/begin and this was true of being a teenager or young adult in the late 90’s or early 2000’s as well.
I said in a former post that got eaten by the rollback that kids being retarded is nothing new but the difference was everyone knew what they were doing was wrong and didn’t want to get caught. Whether it’s my grandparents’ generation blowing up mailboxes with firecrackers, my parents’ generation hucking lawn darts at each other or my generation laughing at autistics on the internet.

I'm a millennial, and I'll be the first to bitch about how we played a big role in why the world seems like A Brave New World spinoff today. The only time I would get mad was when gen x or boomers would call us lazy. Because I was lazy. Then I'd get asshurt and sperg about "EVERY GENERATION HATES THE YOUNGEST! LOOK AT THIS OLD WRITING! LOOK AT THIS QUOTE! SEE?! SEE?!".
Something tells me you zoomers are getting booty bruised because you recognize these flaws we speak of in yourself, and you don't like it. You could try and see that your generation has problems and help us understand your perspective so we can fix this in the future. That what life is all about. I know its hard to understand because you weren't alive yet, but the world used to not be so chaotic. We had families, vacations, meaningful relationships. We we're happy. Yeah, there was bad too but you weren't alone. You had people to share emotion with. Now any emotion displayed online is dismissed as cringe.
Its not just a distant nostalgia from the past. This world we live in is chaotic and sick. I wish you could have been there. I pity you guys, because you have all these problems and haven't developed relationships and healthy mechanisms to deal with these problems. And you don't even realize you have problems because its normal. Does that make sense?
