Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Why is that surprising? If they can't get the Election Rigging bills through, they 100% absolutely will tell their base that the GOP stole the midterms and they must #RESIST all over again. Then they'll double down the pressure to pass it in 2023 to try and prevent the bloodbath in 2024.

There's no way Biden isn't demented after the "minor incursion" shit. What's funny is that if Russia really does go into Ukraine and lets say capture a few Ukranian oligarchs, what is stopping Putin from really fucking with Joe after getting a little info on what Hunters been up to over there? If Putin wanted to cause a serious shitfest over here in the states he probably could just by producing evidence of Hunter and Joe doing corrupt shit over there. Especially if any of it directly mentions Joe getting kickbacks or the 2020 election. The media will lie about it of course, but if they find any decent evidence of stuff they could turn the US into an even more destabilized country.

He's probably not too concerned about that tbh, though in a just world he would be. But he knows that despite what the brainless parrots and consoomers who buy into his bullshit think, even the reddest of Republicans would probably not see such Intel being sourced directly from the Russians as legitimate or worth pushing as such. The left true believers think the right is pro Putin but the truth is we are just more pragmatic. Putin's motivations are fairly simple on a geopolitical scale and needlessly provoking him is stupid, but that doesn't mean we think he's trustworthy or wouldn't cut all of our throats given the opportunity.

Since it's now apparent even to very stupid people that Biden isn't making any governing decisions whatsoever, anybody got any ideas about who is actually running the empire? Is it a collection of high echelon Pentagon generals, spooks, and party apparatchiks? I'm very curious to know who is on the equivalent of the small council over in DC and what their true motivations are.

I don't think the Pentagon generals are playing a very big role in anything. I imagine the largest group is the apparatchiks, followed by journalists, academics, and then spooks in that order.
