They do realize that Putin has the same fucking name? I swear to God, being a redditor is worse than being mentally challenged.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if most people don't know Vladimir is his first name because a lot of world leaders are referred to by their surnames.

I don't understand what message this one is trying to make.
To me this makes Putin out to be the better leader;
He focuses on matters related to the country instead of spending time with a family, he doesn't make friends unnecessarily with his military subordinates, and doesn't broadcast his location where any tom dick or harry can drone strike him.

Day 6. The Ukrainian front has irretrievably collapsed.

The Russian army is bypassing the major urban centres, leaving them in the hands of Zelensky's pro-NATO units, to strike in depth.

The main facts of the day:
  • Zelensky's pro-NATO troops are unable to take the strategic initiative and are retreating or being overrun everywhere
  • The Russian army has established its air superiority over the whole of Ukraine
  • The Russian strategic north/south pincer is rapidly closing
  • The siege of Kiev is accelerating
  • The Russian army is now deep in western Ukraine, in the centre of the country (Vinnitsa region), on the left bank of the Dnieper
  • With the imminent fall of Mariupol on the Sea of Azov, the Russians are about to create a continuous front from Kiev to Kherson
  • All Ukrainian units in the Donbass are subject to a major encirclement manoeuvre in their rear (through Poltava - Dnepro in the north, through Zaporizhia in the south), the aim of which is to destroy all Ukrainian forces in the eastern half of the country

Northern axis (Kiev / Chernihiv)
A massive quantity of equipment from Belarus is transported by the Russian army around Kiev.

A convoy more than 60 kilometres long heading towards the capital was photographed by Western satellites.

The Russian army has not launched a massive frontal assault on the capital so far, contenting itself with testing the enemy's position with scouts.

Further north, in Chernihiv, the last elements of pro-NATO troops are being methodically annihilated.

Eastern axis (Sumy / Kharkov)
The city of Kharkov is surrounded, fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the city.

A recruitment centre was destroyed by a Russian raid.

Eastern axis (Donbass)
A Russian breakthrough north of Luhansk has taken place, the junction in the west with the Russian forces in Crimea is achieved.

Southern axis (Odessa / Mariupol)
Movement towards the Donbass

The junction of Donbass and Crimea is achieved.

The port of Mariupol, on the Sea of Azov, is surrounded by the Russian army and its capture is announced for today, but it could take another day.

An explosion on the city's perimeter.

Movement towards Odessa
The city of Kherson is completely surrounded.

Looks like my take was on the mark. Russian forces taking the land and securing the cities in sieges. Leaves open the Belarussian forces to secure the border and prevent any supplies coming in.

Then the Russians just have to set up a perimeter and let them starve, occasionally blowing up any targets of concentrated resistance.

Reddit wants to paint Zelenskyi as Wholesome Keanu Chungus Capitan America™️

Fuckin name is Voldemort lmao
Voldemort was JK "Whats a troon going to do" Rowlings attempt at a French pun. Vol de mort, I.e. flight/theft of death. Because he doesn't want to die.

Still, its not like Reddit9rs are going to call Zelensky Voldemort is it?

Also fun fact. The French regular change the spelling of foreign peoples names for pronunciation. Putin is like poutine, which is especially necessary since pronuncing putin as it is commonly Latinised is literally French for fuck/whore like the Spanish puta.

The worst part of what appears to be Russia's strategy is that there is no way to counter it since Ukraine is alone. They don't have the forces to break a siege from the outside.

The Russians need to just shell and bomb anything inside that looks significant, and even if some units break out of the city the mobile elements of the Russian forces will be on standby to zoom in and annihilate them. This right here is the end. If this is in fact the plan then Ukraine is officially lost.

This is the thing that proves Russia underestimated Ukraine, Putin probably got himself to think that because Crimea welcomed the annexation for the most part it meant that the same would apply to most of Ukraine to at least some extent. And this is almost certainly from southern or eastern Ukraine, the place that's supposed to be the most sympathetic to Russia.

Moral of the story, don't judge a single region and apply it to the whole country.
Not really, but the problem of ukrainian society is that it's very lazy and indifferent for the most part, while woke nationalists are like BLM in US - they have no problem gathering into bunches and starting shit, blocking places, etc. If you followed the coup of 2014, you would notice this, there were tons of people who were against this shit, yet they did nothing. However, they are very cowardly and run away the second they get any resistance. That's why they try all this shit against russian army, they know they have orders to not fight back, unless it's crucial. Otherwise they would sit at their homes and angrily tweet all day.

China and India told their expats to get the fuck out of Ukraine and Russia as fast as possible, they're readying mass evacuations. Shit is about to get real bad farmbros.
Sauce? I can't find anything about China/India telling their people to leave Russia.

Does he really think this will boost morale?
Stephen King is clearly a Russian agent attempting to make the Ukrainians look bad.
Apropos of nothing, I just realized that based on the etymology of the name Stephen, his name means Crown King.

I love all these fucking leftists saying they'll volunteer to fight in Ukraine.

They would faint at the sight of a recruiting ad on TV.

The mask not only slipped off, but it landed on the floor and created another NPC.
Best case scenario, some of the major societal problems of the West/U.S. will sort itself out when Russian forces/friendly fire gets involved, or get lost to the Zone. Meanwhile, we still kick back and watch the bigger fireworks happen.
Worse case scenario, Russian intelligence might catch word from this and the Reddit army and declare it as interference from the West/U.S., which the nuclear button may or may not get involved. Meanwhile, we still kick back and watch the bigger fireworks happen.

Hot take: Putin is a globohomo agent and dedicated fall-guy, designed over a long period of time for this idiotic war to bring the EU states closer together under a unified leadership and military, and also to tie them closer to the US for gas and oil. The Coof has run out of steam and nobody gives a shit anymore, people distrusting their government is at an all time high, and economies are in the shitter. What better solution to that than having a bit of a war? But who can start it? Russia, of course. Russia has been built up as the boogeyman for years now, with constant meddling and also as the country the chuds and rightwing scum look to favourably, and the russian people are used to corruption and oppression. Nobody ever gave a shit what the russian people thought about anything, so they're the perfect fall-guy nation. Unify the EU both politically and militarily, while being dependent on the US.
It all makes sense (if you squint really hard and look for the most ridiculous stack of conspiracies instead of reality).

Up to now the Ukrainians had one hope, that Russia was going to do a war of attrition trying to actually take the cities. If so, the results would be more up in the air since Russia could not maintain its losses.

If the strategy actually is to let them starve, there is no hope for victory.
