lol keep her for the lulz
I'm confused, smuggling IN.. I thought they stopped her as she was getting the fuck out. If her stupid ass tried to sneak drugs into russia, she deserves everything she fucking gets, the full 10 years would be funny to me. Don't fuck around in another country, you dumb ape.

Let's see her try to scream I AM INNOCENT I AM NOT SUICIDAL as she's getting drug away, hopefully in chains for the added lols.

this has nothing to do with russia/ukraine or anything, I just hate this nigger like you wouldn't believe.

The Floyd protests were a mostly successful attempt by the the US government to deploy color revolution tactics at home. Police were ordered not to do anything. In Minneapolis, they even marched through residential areas and shot homeowners with less-than-lethal rounds to force them back inside and prevent them from doing anything to interfere with the riots. We had domestic terrorists coordinating across states and online to attack federal buildings and private citizens; nothing was done because they were supported by their local DAs.

Jan 6 was, for the most part, a genuinely populist attempt to do something about transparent election corruption in 2020. IMO it was driven by a mistaken belief on the part of those involved that the government couldn't stop the Floyd riots. Turns out that when the government wants to, it can throw you in indefinite solitary confinement with no charges or trial.
The Floyd riots, Covid measures, and even this invasion I think are all just steps in one master plan that's gonna have horrifying results if it succeeds. In less than a decade (cultural) Marxism's made more progress toward global sociopolitical domination than it has since its inception. Pure evil ideologues who've casually murdered more civilians than soldiers died in both World Wars and who now happily encourage mass riots, violence, and rape all while gulag-ing anyone who gets in their way are closer than they've ever been to holding all the cards and pulling all the strings.

What a load of shit. Cuba, a floating turd populated by mystery meat Spanish speakers, has survived American sanctions for coming on 60 years. Iran 40 years. Even South Africa got by perfectly fine for decades.

Russia is in a far stronger position. It's self sufficient in food and energy and it can buy almost all the tech it needs from China. Yes no more western fast food chains. Channel bags and Rolex watches will be unobtanium, so what?

The biggest irony is that as the war progresses the price of hydrocarbons and basic commodities has skyrocketed which is bolstering the Russian war effort. The Europeans are funneling more hard currency into Russian coffers than ever and for all the bluster it's impossible to stop buying from the planet's biggest producer of natural gas and oil.

Yes sanctioning Russia will for sure lead to political instability only not in Russia. Putin has banned the export of grain and fertilizer. The west are about to experience a migration wave from the middle east that will make the Syrian refugee crisis look like a trickle.

This is the problem with burgerstani's, they actually believe that their debt soaked financialized economy is mirrored everywhere else, it's not. Russia has zero net debt, it runs a massive trade surplus, and it produces stuff that is fundamental to the global economy. Nation's can get by without Disney movies and KFC, electricity and wheat? Not so much. The stuff that Russia makes it's living from the west is still buying, will continue to buy and paying a premium for to boot.
The real point of these sanctions isn't to cause Russia to collapse, it's to make it impossible for them to modernize their military and have issues maintaining their equipment. One of the major reasons (though not the only one) the T-14 and SU-57 haven't actually entered service yet because there's only like a dozen of them each is because of the sanctions from the Crimea annexation causing a financial crisis that Russia had only recently recovered from.

It's interesting how when Russia shoots traditionally civilian targets that Ukraine is using for military operations like schools and there is collateral damage it's a big problem but according to the same media when Israel blows up Hamas who hides rockets in schools and there is collateral damage it isn't a problem at all? Why is this?
Forgive me for linking Aljazeera, but this opinion piece says it best.

"Some lives are more valuable than others."

Note the article reads like a propaganda piece, but when you really take it in, it is still propaganda, but not for this current conflict. It's a piece reflecting on how we Americans are now booing our own tactics.

We destroyed a hospital with Doctors without Borders stationed inside of it and said "oops! our bad"
We erased schools because soldiers MIGHT have been inside of them.
We reduced neighborhoods to dust just to kill ONE guy.
Our patriotism was a cancerous blight to those countries. While I stand by my country right or wrong ( I aint got anywhere else to go bro) , I can never look past how much damage we did to the wrong people. Sure. Mission complete. But the casualties and the crossfire is unacceptable. The innocent lives we ruined because we had to get our bad guys ? Is that any different than the innocent lives Russians are ruining?

And our Allies are just as twisted as we are. Israel has no problem erasing Hamas and Hamas has no problem trying to "prove" that Israel is evil enough to disregard innocent life to kill them. Meanwhile our state propaganda, rather than force people to pick a side, rather make a spectacle about of both sides like it's a game you can bet money on.

Anyway.

When you're destroying the lively-hood of brown people? Nobody cares, they're uncivilized, they don't look like us!
When you're destroying the lively-hood of white people? STOP EVERYTHING, YOU MUST CARE, THEY'RE CIVILIZED, THEY LOOK LIKE US!

I hate to reduce it to such simple American terms, as to avoid offending our European friends who see hating each other in more shades than simply Black vs White. I apologize again for this transgression.

I'm gonna take another break from this thread. I turn into a fucking bleeding heart preacher every fucking time. Ultimately, it just comes off of sanctimonious bullshit that does nothing for anyone. Fuck. I hate being aware.

We are approaching that critical 4 week point where Ukraine's general mobilization is going to start to be able to show some real teeth. Kiev and Kharkiv have still not been encircled fully and are still being supplied. Mariople is cut off, but has not fallen and is bogging down the bulk of the Russian invasion. Odessa has not been engaged at all, preventing Russian forces in Transnistria from effectively participating.

With lethal western munitions now pouring into the country and the loss, by most estimates, of around 1,000 supply vehicles, the Russian Army now has about another 4 weeks to break the sieges of Mariople and Kharkiv. Kiev is not as important as those two battles. If they can get Mariople and Kharkiv they can roll on and seize the Russian side of Dneiper and declare victory. I think Odessa is completely out of the equation at this point, so Ukraine is not going to become landlocked. I don't think the Russians can take Kiev either at this point. All they can do is keep Ukraines best units pinned down there and out of the Eastern Theater.

If Mariople does not fall in the next 4 weeks, Kharkiv is not going to fall, because the Russians cannot cut off Kharkiv until the Southern Front is secure and those forces can turn to the north and cut off Kharkivs resupply route. Worse, at this juncture Russia's supply train will have become exhausted while the Ukrainians will remain fully supplied. To continue the war, Russia will HAVE to declare a general mobilization, call up its reserves and institute the draft. Something that may be politically untenable for Putin.

Some retard decided to update an npm js package to make it wipe machines in Russia and Belarus. There's been some collateral damage.

But honestly that's what you get for using Chode.js. Every time I have interacted with npm I have done it inside a container or a vm because it's such a badly designed and insecure ecosystem. JS was a big mistake.

As western nations burn in the fires of inflation, open borders, and demographic replacement - at least lethal munitions can still be sent to Ukraine en masse. It's good for nations to keep their priorities in check.

Did those plebs never hear of off-site backups? You get what you fucking deserve.

Also, running updates on a production server before verifying them in pre-production is a pajeet-tier move.

I disagree, I live near Philadelphia and I can see that the US government is losing control over vast swaths of the immediate region. If you walk around Kensington or any part of the Philly badlands you will INSTANTLY realize that the government has absolutely no control over this area, they're just visitors. https://youtu.be/cOBoDT-3oM0 is just one small area of Kensington, the Philly badlands is fucking huge and the police have effectively surrendered these sections of the city and only intervene when murders and violent crime occurs, they show up and immediately depart once the crisis ends or crime scene is fully processed. Anything that goes on in the badlands is effectively invisible to Federal authorities unless it blows up or kills someone. This is just one city in the US with this level of blight and loss of control, I'm sure I could go to LA, Chicago, St Louis, Detriot, any major city. The south Bronx was infamous for its total lawlessness in the 70s and 80s and when a region gets that way for a long period of time they do not take kindly to some asshole in a suit trying to brute force them into doing what they do not like. If this stagflation, insane food and gas prices continue upward while paired with the crime wave you're going to see people just start gunning down cops and Feds because they're just in the way and provide absolutely zero protections or benefits to the average person. That the US managed to dig itself out of the 70-80s crime and economic malaise is probably one of the most poorly understood events in US history, most young people don't realize how fucking shit the country was for a long period of time.

I think Putin managed to time his invasion of Ukraine quite well, the US is in rapid decay and I think would almost certainly have been more capable of dealing with the invasion between 2015-2019. Everywhere I go I just feel a sense of apprehension from people around me, everyone gives off the feeling that they're just going through the motions and is just putting on a brave face for each other, totally accepting the fact that shit is bad and is almost certainly going to get worse.
While I agree with you that the US is decaying and sliding down the shitter at a rapid pace, I get the feeling that's probably the intention. If anything, the increase in lawlessness would only further justify stripping away what few civil rights American citizens have left, which is something that the elites in charge have been salivating over the prospect of for years. Expect politicians and the talking heads in the media to further support the idea of removing the second amendment to combat this future crime wave.

I believe that the US in a few decades time will resemble South Africa, with those in charge living in gated communities with private security teams, while as everyone else has to suffer through sky-high crime rates without even having the legal right to protect themselves.

I said westerners don't know how many Russians would have to die to trigger an anti war movement. They're still treating Russia as a mirror image of the US.
They know. No amount of human misery will trigger an anti-war movement capable of ousting Putin. If enough deaths rack up, Russia will lose "normally" and withdraw / surrender.

Personally I've thought that the Russians sending the Chechens over was always a way to get some of the more violent ones killed so there would be fewer to resist them later on. Looks like some of the Chechens had a similar idea.
Russia is in no position to send Chechens anywhere, Chechens go where they want to go.

Remember the polish politician wanting to send a mostly peaceful peacekeeping mission to ukraine?

Why is everyone using euphemisms lately? call a war a special operation, call nato intervention a peacekeeping mission. :tomgirl:

"For the application of such means, a new and essentially pacifist vocabulary has been created. War is condemned but executions, sanctions, punitive expeditions, pacifications, protection of treaties, international police, and measures to assure peace remain. The adversary is thus no longer called an enemy but a disturber of peace and is thereby designated to be an outlaw of humanity. A war waged to protect or expand economic power must, with the aid of propaganda, turn into a crusade and into the last war of humanity. This is implicit in the polarity of ethics and economics, a polarity astonishingly systematic and consistent. But this allegedly non-political and apparently even antipolitical system serves existing or newly emerging friend-and-enemy groupings and cannot escape the logic of the political."
Carl Schmitt, The Concept of the Political, 1932

Holy shit. Look at the flag. You cant make this shit up. :story:
7 colors. It's a reference to Genesis 9:11-15, the aftermath of the flood.

Yeltsin stayed in power precisely because the oligarchs and US carried him through the 93 Crisis and second election. Everyone in Russia would have wanted him gone and Putin played the game right to succeed him. The US even acknowledged Putin in private talks as a good replacement for Yeltsin. The 93 crisis was decades ago, the US could easily color revolution Russia and get a new Yeltsin in power if the situation at home gets too out of hand for Putin.
The US has been trying to color white revolution Russia for over 10 years now. They may succeed of course, but the death toll of the spesh op will have little to no effect on it.

For those who say that the DPR and LPR only exist on the life support of Russian armed forces and money
...
but what he really meant was that it created a complicated situation in which people suddenly stopped being citizens of one country and did not necessarily agree with their new found government and were definitely not willing to move away because of that.
Not just "not willing", incapable. For nearly a generation, Russia has been actively hostile to Russians moving in from the ex-USSR countries. Many Eastern Ukraine and DPR/LPR residents kept Russian citizenship for higher gibs - it was enough to not starve in The Ukraine, but not enough to move to Russia. They couldn't even flee to Russia, because only foreign nationals can be refugees.

oh and with Putin's speech today there's a very small chance he's about to go full on Stalin.
Unfortunately no chance at all. He's trying to gratify the normies who are butthurt over the number of traitors in the media and the upper classes in general.

People have explained the Yuan things on the the other thread about Saudi, but Yuan is an extremely manipulated currency. CCP controls the currency to keep it as low as possible. So Yuan used for trading is a very bad idea.
Link plz, I'm not very good at Jew magic.

It's about as valuable and trustworthy as Wonkette. (If a Russian language news site is pro-Russian and doesn't show up in Yandex News, it's complete garbage, useless even as a propaganda gauge.)

Well you see, Russia did not want to preserve the infrastructure of Chechnya, a part of their country that they would control later, but now they have an interest in preserving the infrastructure of Ukraine, which is not (yet) a part of their country (and which they might have to control later), because shut up
Yes. Russia did not care about preserving the infrastructure of Chechnya because Chechnya was small and Russia's own territory so fuck them, but they have an interest in preserving Ukraine because they have no resources to control Ukraine and support Ukrainians, so they have to leave a somewhat livable country behind.

Edit: the Irish refugee situation gets better. Article linked here (archive). There’s actually two refugee families which he has posed with. Neither of them are white (note: I think the two women next to him are wife and daughter). He asked for Ukrainians but got Asians and Africans.
These two actually look like real Ukrainian refugees, a Central Asian labor migrant and child.

This outta annoy some Americans...
It's Medvedev, he's a cuck. Nothing he says is ever of value. Putin made him president for that very reason.

i heard that there's an ongoing exodus of middle and upper class russians happening over the last few weeks, apparently a lot of russians are extremely pessimistic about the future, and some fear that putin might close the borders or make emigration illegal at some point in the near future, so they are trying to get out ASAP
Thieves cashing out.
The goal of any middle and upper-class Russian is to either embezzle a lot and emigrate to the West, or stay in the country and keep embezzing until death / retirement and send the children West. Now that staying in the country means they and their children can get sanctioned, they're cashing out.

I'm surprised to learn then some Russians fled to Turkey knowing the relations between Turkey and Russia in the past but on the other hand, Erdogan licking Putin's boots...
Cheap (I believe globohomo's preferred term is "downshifting") and no visa requirement.

Eh, prices for everything that's imported went up. Necessities like food are mostly fine, but everything else? Dog food, furniture, electronics, construction materials, car parts, all that shit rose by roughly 30% (give or take). For now. It's only been a month, hard to say what it's going to be like by summer.
...
We're estimating to see about 300k new hands in the unemployment pool.
We've been through the coof. Imports already had to adjust for fucked up logistics. I have cargo stuck en route since September '21 and a pallet sitting in a Japanese warehouse since April fucking 2020.
And if Mishustin isn't bamboozling and will actually raise the import threshold back to $1000, electronics will be more affordable when the price of labor catches up as AKIT gets told to pound sand.

English doesn't use accent marks so we never learn them, and we never learn the basic conventions of foreign names so we can read them accurately. There's also so many foreign names here, it's called Muttland for a reason.
This is exactly why it's weird. Because there are so many loan words and foreign names pronounced every which way, I'd expect Americans to be more like Japs and remember the correct pronunciation of a word or name. (Unlike in e.g. Russian, where you only need to guess the stress and maybe an unmarked ё).

I'm confused, smuggling IN.. I thought they stopped her as she was getting the fuck out. If her stupid ass tried to sneak drugs into russia, she deserves everything she fucking gets, the full 10 years would be funny to me. Don't fuck around in another country, you dumb ape.
Yes, she was caught in Moscow having flown from New York. She's been playing in Russia since 2015 and won the women's championship every year.

I remember some Jew thot got caught "smuggling drugs" because she got used to buying tickets from an aggregator site and thoughtlessly picked a cheaper flight with a transfer in Moscow. That was at least understandable. This, no excuse.
