If you're on SSI, you have to report all those earnings, even if it's going to his Dad or whoever. Maybe he did because if SSI catches onto that at all, he'd get kicked off making over $1k/month.

This was some time ago, so that 1k shouldn’t effect him anymore. If he keeps selling wands for 50 bucks each, that will catch up to him.

If he legit has any avenues to worry about it should be the IRS.

The charge backs are always funny. It use to happen all the time and he would always say “I’ll wait a bit to get the money” meaning he wait to see if anyone would charge back, but he would just hurry and forwards the money. I have some questions about this is that $1350 on average? i.e if he earns $1351 in one month but for the rest of the year he earns $1300 a month does that still count as going over or does it work out on average?

Also I'd be intrested in knowing how Clint handles this he's handling Cobes rent at least and is possibly his payee is he the one who has to do the notification and monitoring of Cobes income to make sure he's compliant?

They can do income averaging, taking the total months that he received payments and averaging across the year. For Josh, it will be for the entire year, as he is constantly receiving cash from paypigs. No clue how Josh gets his SSI and if Clint is the payee. If Clint is the payee, then he is the one responsible for reporting any changes in income -- which is a fucking lot. It also means Cobes is so fucked up medically, that the government decided not to hand him the money.

I think it would count, the government doesnt care what you do as long as they get there hands on some of it - He could be paid to sing "I'm a little Tea pot", while dressed in a gingham dress getting spanked by a man in a Ice-T mask and they would be fine with it as long as some of that money goes to them.

It also makes a huge difference if Cobes is considered so blind that is his disability, but it doesn't seem like he does. I'm no glasses fag but I'll include what they got. That changes the limit of his earnable cash to $2260.

I don't think he'll be on that upper limit at least not if we go off his glasses, He's had corrective surgery for Cataracts and he's got that lazy eye thing he fucked up the after care with and he's able to read a computer scream and see in fine enough detail to do his wands. Just going off experience that would make him hard of seeing but not to the level it would be considered impairment- unless there is something else going on we are not aware of.

His vision is likely getting worse just as he ages but he's also seriously deficient in lots of things your eyes need to keep healthy, I'm not one of those people who says Vitamins and Minerals are all you need to maintain a healthy body doctors be dammed etc but a multi vitamin and Folic acid would improve his life and mood some what - when you drink like he does your body steals every little bit it can to keep essential functions going and some of the first things to suffer are your Eyes, Skin, Liver and kidneys all things he has problems with.

Yes. Any income above $65 monthly or more depending on the state is supposed to be reported monthly. Patreon, Superchats, Paypal all that counts. Then above a certain amount per month, you lose a percentage of your SSI payment.

Social Security regularly checks your assets like bank records and taxable income.

Josh probably doesn't make enough for them to care. $200/month, meh. But begging for $830 online, I wouldn't do that.

Chiming in to say on ssi, there is no sga. Sga is for ssdi only, as is the trial work period.

For ssi, the formula is a 20 dollar income exclusion plus another 65 dollar exclusion. After that, your ssi gets reduced a dollar for every $2 earned.

If you earn enough that your ssi is zero dollars because of wages, ssi is suspended for the month. After 12 months of no ssi, it is then terminated automatically.
