Sure, but not for speech reasons. The “if they are not breaking the law” part of his speech point is going to be much much weaker in pretty much any other jurisdiction, and a US-based alternative will be able to offer better speech protections. I absolutely understand his aversion to US copyright issues but for a social media site I’d say that’s less important than freedom of political expression. It’s not like their problem is going to be people hosting movie rips on their tweets.
