How the fuck do you crash during winter when you live that far north?
Especially when it's a modern car.
Like nigga just don't touch the breaks and don't give her too much gas, the car will drive it's self. How can you be that old and not know what engine breaking is?
This is fatherless behavior and he is 40 years old.
Obviously you have never driven in ice and snow and do not know much about sports cars.

1. They are rear wheel drive and these lose traction (grip on the road) without weight on top of them. Engine in front and wheels spinning in back is easy to fishtail and slide out if you do not know what you are doing.

2. Sports cars come standard with summer tyres--since the assumption is that you will be driving with the top down and showboating in nice weather. I bet he left his summer tyres on.

3. Nick is a poor driver. He has never invested time into anything mechanically inclined; see boomer takes on guns and cars. He just wants something that goes 'fast'. It was too much for him to handle.
Last time he was on was during the midterm stream but i didn't watch as that stream was such a borefest. Going to be fun to see if Kurt covers it as he was extremely critical of the case and was super critical of the work Ty did. I do think Ty as a solo guest is pretty much over.

100% this is going away. One superchat is going to cut too deep and set him off. At first it'll be ones that 'attack his family or friends' followed by any that are critical of him.
I'll miss Ty. I will shit on his work and his firm's work, but he seems like a genuine person--unlike Nick.

Yeah, he will fade from the lineup like Burch and GrandAdmiral C. Q and Tennapel have faded too.

EDIT: Also, see his take on the DISCORD 'You made me do this because YOU couldn't handle FREEDOM!'. Bet the revision to SC policy will come in and he will blame fans for going authoritatian

We also do no know how much his signed deal is for quasi-exclusivity. IMO, it cannot be more than 65% of his average take.
Obviously no hard numbers, but he's said that he quoted a stupid amount of money and instead of laughing at him they came back with a counter-offer about 30% of that, which was a decent enough offer for him to continue negotiating.
does anyone have the clip where nick said as a kid he made a date rape joke about his sister. i swear to christ this happened and i let it go at the time.

nick was in high school or middle school or something. i think it was science class and he said he shouldn't put lead or some other chemical in his sisters drink because that would be daterape.

his teacher was obviously disgusted at this statement and sent him to the principals office. his dad was watching that stream and heard his daterape joke about his sister, he said this himself.
He's told this story at least a couple of times, I think, although I don't remember specifically whose sister the joke was supposed to mean.

The money cannot replace his 1.5k per stream that he was averaging, plus LOCALS, plus YT memberships. We will have to watch more closely for signs of financial distress, but it is nothing new for Kiwis to do. DSP was dissected very well.

As for the story, it was his freinds' sister, IIRC.

In any case, I doubt wild claims from a not yet 3 weeks old account.

@JackoVerde Post receipts that are more conclusive, or else shut up and read the room to learn the culture. If you are only here to troll and alog, this is not the place.

WTF Rackets, I thought you hated driving and all you wanted to do was have sex with your wife. Why were you out?

While we're talking about Ty, I'll miss him too. I liked his boomer takes on shit and found him to be funny.
I'll miss him calling Canadians the shock troops of the British Empire.
Which is a hilarious take because anyone not british was cannon fodder to the British Empire.
Hell, even the *british* were cannon fodder to the British Empire.

I have driven over ice and snow, and at higher speeds with a worse car and didn't spin out.
And while low grip would be a problem, it would not be the cause. The car only spins out if you do something you shouldn't like break or oversteer. Which again points out to him not knowing how to drive in snow despite living there for over a decade.

Shock troops can be cannon fodder and cannon fodder can be shock troops. And his belief is brought on by the 2nd Battle of Ypes where the Candian troops withstood a major gas attack without retreating and without gas masks and the Battle of Vimy Ridge where the Canadians pushed through a gas attack.

From his grandfathers obituary, Nicks sister seems to be Kristen and if you search that name it brings up https://archive.vn/dGsPc, I do remember Nick saying his sister was in some third world country so it looks like shes a yoga teacher in Nicaragua.
Never until now been motivated to search out him or his family doxx, but here it is on 5 minutes of research.

Looks like you might be right about the person. I am face-blind, so people can compare schnozzes and likeness, but here is the business that seems to link back to Austin

Seems to be a divorce in her past and some sketchy BF's or new husband around 2000. Fight over kids with this Hale guy that needs follow-up along with that business in Austin.

>Austin, Texas
Leave it to the Island of Texan LibShit to be at the heart of this.

Despite rarely watching his streams, I've seen him talk multiple times about keeping a death list of kids he wanted to kill. He must have shown it to someone or purposefully left it out because he got in trouble for it. He tells the story in the tone of "oh wasn't I so dark and quirky and the education system sucks for not letting me make my classmates feel uncomfortable by making threats." I think we all had some weird angry loner kids in high school but I don't recall knowing of anyone getting in trouble for having written death threats.

I always found it an odd story for Nick to tell but on its own it seems like nothing. Add it to the list of all his behavior that has been revealed recently and maybe it's worth taking note of.

Any car can be driven in the snow, it's not that difficult. Just get snow tires, don't drive like a lunatic, and you're good. Do what Metokur has mentioned he does and keep an emergency shovel in your trunk. And for fuck's sake, if you have an electric vehicle, precondition the fucking car before you leave your house.

Yes, but you haven't done it in a S550 mustang.
I have, with all season tires, and non-supercharged. I couldn't go above 15mph or the back end would swing out. Even on straight roads. The moment the gauge hit 16 it would go all squirrely.

So apparently Nick bought a new sports car, just not the sports car he was gushing over. From the stream https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rbtGKFW-48 at 11:56 he shows a picture of his red Mustang GT500. Yet again another Ford car. I'm guessing he got some good rate with the Ford loyalty program since he has owned a Fusion and owns a Lincoln Navigator. Perfect car to fit with new trailer trash hedonistic image! He just needs the flat brimmed hat, some ear gauges, and a vape. These things are going to tank in value in the coming years.

Of course it has to be a fucking Mustang of all actual economical cars like (insert car brand and model name here). Only time will tell if he'll crash it like RalphaMale did on his Nissan Sentra, because Mustang is very hard to control, even with safety features such as ABS and TCS on.

Don't get me wrong I like Mustangs too, but it's not something I'd drive it daily.

See what I mean? Not even 30 MPH and it already prones to oversteer above 15 MPH.

Snow maybe but ice, not really, especially wet ice. It's better when it's actually super cold because then the ice is generally dry. You just shouldn't drive in it period unless you have a vehicle well suited to it and KNOW HOW TO DRIVE. Nick failed on both.

It'd only have to replace his YT revenue, and he's implied that he's willing to take a pretty significant haircut on that in exchange for the freedom to say what the fuck he wants. I have no idea what sort of numbers were actually in play, but if his stupid high offer was something north of what he was making at the time on YT (it was pre-Depp, but he was expecting growth, they were asking him to sacrifice that, yadda yadda), and they came back with somewhere around a third of that, it could plausibly fall within his reasonable haircut range.

He's still got the Locals membership revenue entirely separate from YT or the Rumble deal, and from what he's said it gave him a whole lot of flexibility. Though we've probably yet to see how all this current **DRAMA** ultimately affects that guaranteed monthly paycheck. Actually strike that: he said that his Locals contract was a deal that basically guarantees his current Locals income even if everybody decides to unsub (https://rekietalaw.locals.com/upost/3206176/locals-members-only-stream-12-14-22).

What he has said, though, is that his 2022 income exceeded his 2021 income, and just based on the income that he considers effectively guaranteed, 2023 already stands to exceed 2022.

Catching up on a couple - ignore if it deserves an alarm clock, pls.
He's also got a sex swing that he rarely uses because of hanging it up and taking it down being a pain in the ass.
How fucking hard is it to pull it out and hang it from the hook you've permanently installed in a ceiling beam? Answer: it's not at all.
Hyper-intellectual asshat? Yes. I mean, the boxes just keep tick tick ticking
"Hyper-intellectual"? When, now?
It's something he's mentioned before too. Basically he hired people to run his dating profiles and still couldn't get any dates.
Because his personality is shit, he's an actual bully, and he hates women. And he is fat and I would not have sex with him.

I just remembered who his overall style reminds me of. About 15 years ago I had a first date/meet from online dating. I've dated a lot and am a good conversationalist, so can usually make even a dull time into a decent one. And almost always a positive experience even if know I have no interest in going forward. But this one guy (also bulky and balding, nttawwt), in addition to thinking he was about 5x smarter than he clearly actually was, and in addition to being one of those guys who starts sputtering and talking way too fast when he gets mad [angry mouthbreather nerds are the fucking worst], was SO negative, so sharp with his comments, such a misanthropist, so unpleasant, and put such a negative spin on everything, even his own prospects and plans in life (in truth he had a shit job and thought he was too good for it, but it's...the one he had), I was in awe. Dude even got salty with me when I had to step out of the restaurant to talk by phone to my then barely if at all school-aged children who were with their dad but wanted to talk to me. When I finished and came back to the table, he acted sulky then proceeded to tell me when and how I should be available to my children (ie., not when I should be focusing on him) (Did we just meet, sir? Yes, yes we did.). Couldn't wait to get out of there. I ended that date as soon as socially acceptable, albeit gently and politely because I was a dummy back then and way too nice. He then had the gall to text me almost immediately afterward to tell me how rude I was for not kissing him goodnight and for talking to my children. Then he asked me out again. Something about giving me another chance.

He was so shockingly, obviously bad as a human. And he had the same nasty, petulant, entitled, seething, subsurface rage that Kurt did when he was going off.

Ps., he was also, of course, cheap. And waxed on about wine in ways that were SO wrong (naturally he didn't ask much about me so didn't know I was a collector, but rather seemed to try to assume the sophisticated educator position - naturally). It was like Paul Giamatti's character in Sideways, except he was dead wrong about most everything. And I believe he did actually order Merlot (funny if you know the movie). For both of us. Without asking.

TL; DR: Guys like that are usually unpleasant on multiple levels. It's repulsive, and
it's literally repellent.

The femtism in this video is something to behold. That said, I can't disagree with any of it.

Jesus Christ, this isn't a matter of any kind of prudery. The guy is fucking married. What the fuck is he doing?
Prospecting.
He got off easy. There is no damage. The white shit on the bumper is just snow. Looks like he skidded off the road into a foot of snow. He is lucky it was soft snow. Hard weathered snow would have fucked up that fiberglass front end like hitting concrete.

Goddam that thing is low to the ground. No wonder he needed a wrecker.

No traction and not enough weight. Doesn't matter if you have Kitt from Knight Rider controlling your car.

When I used to do hostler shit 100 years ago snow was just fucking great. Even in as little as a couple inches of snow shit was sliding all over the place.
I thought at first maybe he slid off an on/off ramp into the side snow. Those things are tight turns in MN and icy, often even when salted, and cars just float off the outside edge into snow. But that wouldn't have been a 60 mph zone. Maybe just hit a stretch of ice and wiggled/sailed right off the road - you don't have to be braking to lose control, and downshifting (even if he'd been in a manual, which iirc he wasn't) or taking your foot off the pedal does little until you hit non-ice. Trying to correct and control with small movements while you float is about the best it gets, but when a) you're an idiot and b) you are driving the WORST car for the conditions at the worst time of year after a ton of snow and sub-zero temps now doing a daily warmup and nightly drop with the ice is constantly reforming and basically invisible, the best it gets is only marginally better than the worst. What a bonehead for driving that car. Buying that car.

He needed to have it towed out of either a snowbank or a ditch by the side of the road. He showed pictures of the current state of the car on Joe's scheme. There was no damage to the car but by the snow distribution on the front end it looked like he crashed into a snow bank or deep snow by the side of the road. A soft fluffy snow bank as opposed to a icy, weathered snow bank.

No not an insurance thing. With a light rear wheel drive car like that you're not going to be able to get the car back onto the road on its own power. It's just going to spin its wheels and slide around. He needed a wrecker to tow the car out of the snow and back on the road. You see this type of shit all the time in winter. Especially with the first snowstorm. Dumbasses not driving appropriately in shitty weather.

By the sound of things he was picking the car up at the dealership with his oldest daughter and lady rackets. He must have been trying to keep up with his dumb bitch wife who was driving a bigger, much heavier snow appropriate car and got into trouble.
My friend, the S550 GT500 is by no means a light car. Even the regular GT is heavy. Ford is a coward so they don't put the weight on the website. GT500 well over 4000 lbs. I bet you there is some cosmetic underbody damage and maybe a slightly bent control arm.
