Why was he arrested??
Public intoxication. He drank an entire bottle of liqour in Clint's van on their way to Grandma's for family Christmas, and started ranting about wanting to kill himself and the family. Clint pulled over at a gas station, called the cops saying he didn't feel safe. Officer arrived and originally told Clint she was going to take Cobes to a rehab facility to at least sober up, but they weren't taking anyone in due to heating problems. She then gave the Boy a choice on whether he'd like to go to the hospital to be examined or at least a shelter so he wasn't in the sub zero cold. He refused both, so she had no choice but to arrest him for public intoxication.

Is it normal to have to wear a jail uniform in the drunk tank? Or were Jord's clothes so nasty they made him change and get hosed down?
Did he puke on himself prior or during the arrest? Would’ve warranted a change. If he was wearing stuff with spikes/studs they may have had him remove it and given the scrubs due to temperature. It can get cold and freezing to death while being held opens the police up to law suits.

Without his glasses he looks like a chimo, perfect.
I don't think we all really discuss just how bad his glasses make him look either. He just can't win. I think it was Seizure that said at some point his older glasses were far more flattering to his face, to which I agree. These circular lenses just look so fucking dumb with the shape of his head. Anything to suck Ozzy's cock I guess though, toobz.

  • Landlord trouble from plastering walls and carpet in sprayed beer foam, horrible stale beer smell permeates
Honestly that's a good one. That's something that really gets to me. He'll fucking shake up that poor bottle of bud and make a game of seeing how far he can shoot it everywhere. As a relatively regular individual that cleans up after accidentally spilling shit it really boggles my mine how much beer foam he shoots around and never cleans it up; just letting it fester and mold. There is no fucking way in hell there's not mold just growing around him off camera. The ceiling, the carpet, the walls, literally anything within 9ft of the bog chair; all being foamed up on a regular basis.

The way he cooks doesn't even bother me. It's like high school hyper-junk food. But that constant misting of beer he gives himself and everything around him? That's fucking disgusting. It reminds me of misting down a dolphin or whale out of water to keep a shred of life inside.

Now all we need is the body cam footage

I think someone said that's unlikely, it's only released in certain circumstances.

As a growth media Beer is almost ideal, especially if it's low / no alcohol. Beer's called Liquid Bread for a reason.

I agree, I'm not holding my breath on that. But then again, I'm surprised we got the police report. Also, there are YouTube channels dedicated entirely to just body cam footage. I've never looked into that, but they're acquiring that footage from somewhere. It's in the realm of possibility, so mote it be in the witch's circle

I cant imagine using a computer with sticky boglim mits spreading beer champagne and syrupy drink combo on the mouse and keys. Saying that I dont know if he has the brain power to type...

Is the alcohol making his head gourd up? Was he always peanut shaped?

You think he actually got hosed down cause he was a stinky boy badass goth wizard who had to keep his dark magics in check?

Cobes is truly the gift that keeps on giving. I hope we get bodycam footage next.

His face is bloated from the booze for sure. he had a different face shape when he was younger, but he also wears hats and that hides things, as does having more hair.

Stolen from Reddit but you get the idea.

  • After waiting too long, as Cobes drinking continues getting out of hand, another Clintervention is held, it fails to have the desired effect due to mixed messaging and general boglim obstinance
A clintervention will never really work. Clint wants to be his kid's friends more than anything. This past year, it's been more obvious than ever. When they went out for pizza during the thanksgiving weekend, while his stepmom was telling him not to record, Clint was making dumb faces at the camera. After he was released from Jail and gave clint lip service about how he was going to cut back on the drinking, Clint let him drink at his grandparents house as long as it was only "one".

I'd hate to say this is how Clint potentially was when Josh was growing up, after all when Josh turned 18 and got his own place, he essentially washed his hands off of disciplining him which is fair enough. But I can see him, giving out vague rules or punishments to a teenage Josh, not following through with threats and letting him bend restrictions, and not providing an alternative structure.

As someone who has been in the drunk tank a few times. It depends on the state and where you go. If it's the drunk tank at a jail you change, if it's a drunk tank at that police station you keep what you got on. Now in his case it's probably because he needed to be hosed down.

Clint’s the reason the boglim is a boglim. There are no real consequences for Josh’s action. Public intoxication isn’t going to get him prison time. And as a rep payee, Clint HAS to manage Josh’s money and can’t withhold it as punishment, that’s considered rep payee abuse otherwise. If Josh had no money for himself and Clint laid down the law and said “shape up or no money”, then maybe…..

He wants to be friendly, but he did unexpectedly put the foot down by calling the cops. You're right that Clintervention can't ever work because Josh is "too smart for therapy", he chose to spend the night in a drunk tank, get fined and having to attend court over getting checked in at a hospital. His ODD is just too strong.

I feel bad for Clint because he obviously means well. I don't think he's a bad dad because, his other kids seemed to turn out alright. But he does seem like a bit of a pushover and Josh never really learned to take responsibility for his actions because of it. Within days of his eviction he started spinning stories about how the troles sent "false neighbor complaints" to get him kicked out and absolved himself any responsibility (or gratitude towards Clint for paying the damages, helping to clean up the place and finding him a new apartment for that matter).

I said back during @SeizureRobot5000 "Is Clint a bad father" stream Clint isn't a Bad Dad in general but he's not the right one for Josh, if he was say Chris's Dad he's be stellar, and if your a normal kid he's be a Good Dad but for Josh his approach isn't right leading to a lot of Josh's more self destructive problems.

He knows how to bring the hammer down but has done it so often without making the contact it's kinda lost all meaning, like during the eviction streem he called josh and as he was starting to get angry he brought out a "Do you need therapy" and in a act of self defence he shut down the rant before he got to excited and replied with a "No I just need to make smarter decisions" and the threat was nullified in his mind and Clint stopped Josh from going off on one and that's all he's ever really been able to hope for.

Do I think Clint could have done more for Josh? No not really especially when he became an adult as there was little control he had he could realistically bring to bear but I think in light of Clint calling the Police on Josh he's willing to still keep trying and is starting to really consider what options are available to him outside of the normal push and pull he has with him especially now that he's gone so far down the road of drinking he's an active disruption to his family, he may start doing it for selfish reasons but he's still willing to do it and by this point a lot of parents would have written Josh off a long time ago.

I don't know about Clint never punishing Josh or having rules. I mean, he was giving Josh punishment haircuts and he said in his reddit comments that simple things like trying to get him to change his clothes before school would become shouting matches. I think you're right though of washing his hands of a lot of that stuff after the Boy left the house for good.

I think there's a good nurture vs nature debate here I think Clint is a pushover but I also think Josh would've turned out as a big baby no matter what I think a lot of it is his nature
Maybe if he was raised in a good Christian household he would've at least had a better virtues instilled in him even if he was inevitably going to ignore them him becoming a edgy goth satanist is probably a product of the time he grew up in
