realistically though chris will pop up eventually. he cant be outright banned from using the internet but because his case is still pending he was probably told by heilberg to stay off social media to ensure that he doesn't end up incriminating himself which he would do within a matter of hours if he is allowed to openly communicate with anyone.
also its important to understand how prison likely impacted Chris. as you can see he entered prison full of delusions that everything would be fine and he would be back home raping barb within a matter of days. as months passed he started getting annoyed and frustrated but still held delusions that he would be able to return home eventually. what you see at the end is a soulless husk who was told that all his toys were gone, his house was gone, Barb is gone and that he will be stuck in a padded room with a bunch of slow in the minds like him. there is no more anger and frustration in that face, just depression, fear and uncertainty. if we do see Chris again down the line we will all probably wish we didn't.
