It’s a bad thread though with people speculating over stuff they know Jack shit about, it should be locked soon after a certain point.

That's most likely what happened. It takes awhile for records to be updated in courts so that's probably all it is.What are the odds that the vinelink updated when it was decided that he be released and it's just taken a week to schedule and process his release? Now that I think about it why does the vinelink only update when the inmate is physically released and not before? Arent inmate releases scheduled pretty well in advance?
Vinelink wouldn't have falsely said he was released a week ago if he hadn't been.I really want to know what that means, If others are right and it's no biggie just a judicial delay in updating it fine but I really wonder if he's been released today.
Public or private, assuming you're talking about whether it's owned by the US government, like Medicare/aid or whatever, doesn't matter with HIPAA. It basically works like: if you're a medical provider, like a doctor'a practice or a hospital, you can't release any info about your patients. That includes stuff like "is Chris Chan here, or was he here?". They could have niggos restraining Chris at that very moment and they'd tell you that due to HIPAA, they can't say shit. That's it.I'm fairly certain group homes and halfway houses don't count as private medical establishments and therefore not subject to hippa or anything like that. While I don't advocate any one calling or going to these potential places chris is at I'm fairly confident that if someone called or visited they'd either pass the phone to chris if someone called asking for chris or be allowed to see him (assuming said theoretical visitor arrived during visiting hours)
Could be because he's in rural ass Virginia and the nearest cricket or whatever store is like a 5 hour walk one way. Also it's Chris, he's too stupid to "borrow" a fellow inmate's phone and even if he had the social graces to, the smell would alert even the most tarded up tard. That geno ending was mystical, if only.
Also how hasn't this regard gotten his hands on a fellow tards cricket welfare phone??? I know that's optimistic but it's Chris.
Slight PL but I spent some time doing computer monkey work for a state government agency. Some of that stuff may be manually updated by a boomer who takes 4 hour lunch breaks every day. It's a fair guess that the only really urgent thing to them is sending out the alert on VINElink about an inmate being moved/released.Vinelink is probably more accurate and up to date, since it's specifically for victims to be notified of the release of inmates. The information also comes directly from the custodial authority.
Possibly but Vinelink has said he's released on court order for days. That comes straight from the jail. I think they'd know where the guy they've had behind bars for over a year is more than the court would.
Also the public-facing website is probably more out of date than whatever they use internally, as stuff like this is only partially made public.
Let the “Other” saga begin!
>Chris will not assault members of the publicSeeing as how he's still radio silent and is b& from the hoard house, "free" may not be entirely accurate.
Although I so much (you have no idea how much) appreciate your use of the correct acronym, this is not exactly correct. It basically works like: if you're a medical provider, like a doctor'a practice or a hospital, you can't release any info about your patients. That includes stuff like "is Chris Chan here, or was he here?".
thats a good point isnt itDon't bother chris. Some cringey ween will inevitably do that.
Yup.No weening or trolling necessary
This I didn't know, thanks for the correction.Although I so much (you have no idea how much) appreciate your use of the correct acronym, this is not exactly correct.
Covered providers can indeed provide certain information about patients asked for by name:
"The Privacy Rule permits a covered hospital or other covered health care provider to maintain in a directory certain information about patients – patient name, location in the facility, health condition expressed in general terms that does not communicate specific medical information about the individual, and religious affiliation."
They can give this information, except religious affiliation, which is reserved for clergy, to anyone calling and asking for the patient by name.
Caveats: patients must be informed of this practice and may ask that their info not be given out.
Considering he's already been in jail for the better part of two years, I wouldn't exactly call it "scott free">Chris will not walk away Scott free
Chris is going to stuff himself with so much mcdonalds he'll end up in the hospitalIf chris is out and isn't restricted from leaving where ever he is place your bets where he goes first
-McDonald's
-gamestop
-toys r us
-Wal-Mart
-target
-the sonichu temple
My money is on McDonald's
Wait, where is he getting money? He was broke before he went in. The government doesn't give you money as you're leaving. He would just be issued his clothes and sent on his way.If chris is out and isn't restricted from leaving where ever he is place your bets where he goes first
-McDonald's
-gamestop
-toys r us
-Wal-Mart
-target
-the sonichu temple
My money is on McDonald's
He's been "released" from the corrections system. That doesn't mean the big gates opened and out he waddled. He's now in some sort of program or halfway house type of situation as part of the autism deferral.Actually, it's likely that he has to have an address to be released. Maybe a relative took him in. He can apply for welfare, but I'm not sure how long the check takes to arrive.
Neither would I. - Because it's "scot-free", and has nothing to do with anyone named "Scott".I wouldn't exactly call it "scott free"
