I'm apparently speed running this Kiwi Farms experience.
I went to donate to the forum but did it like a normalfag and tried to use my Cash App Bitcoin account. Woke up to a notice that my 7 year old account has been closed due to ToS violation. The first meaningful deplatforming I've had and bonus points for it being on payday, which meant my direct deposit was sent back to my employer and I've had to spend all morning opening an account elsewhere and working with payroll to move things around. Will be resolved in a few days but things were already tight.
In hindsight, an entirely predictable scenario when you don't RTFM but I saw the bitcoin address and went full retard steam ahead since I'd never used Cash App's crypto service.

Yeah that's weird. Check images do post back to your account with relevant recipient info, but unless the receipients bank account has been flagged industry-wide for potential illegal activity, there should be absolutely no reason that a donators checks are being monitored that closely, much less their account being closed.

edit: Oh it was cash app. Yeah that's not a bank account, that's a private money transfer service pretending to be a bank, like Paypal. Their rules are way dumber than banks.
