On Nice Podcast Stupid the Joshisa person made a comment that in talking to the MPD he was told that the MPD had little interest in what was happening to Patrick as they were trying to avoid body bags elsewhere as I'm remembering.

The NPS people did mention how before the mass swatting happened Patrick was telling MPD/FBI that he was gonna get a SWAT 'side the head. They then gave a theory that after Vice published about torswats the crypto places should have blocked the torswat addresses so then Patrick couldn't pay torswats.

Suing the department and a Sargent gives a reason for staff to now take the time to examine if enough documentation exists to present to the judge in the fed case that Patrick was paying to get swatted. Proof you paid to get swatted and the outcome of that paid effort is the lawsuit before the court is NOT gonna end well.

Watch for sealed filings in the case as in the past that's how that courthouse dealt with an attorney and plaintiff being accused of perjury. Oh, and once that sealed doc hit that case the attorney asked for permission to withdraw from the case. Sealed doc and Pat's law dogs leaving the case before the hearing means you better have rented a room and a place for a party because that's gonna be one hell of a hearing to watch. Be sure to have a t-shirt of Pat's tweets 'I'm not a criminal' to wear to the hearing if sealed docs/withdraw request happens.

From there Milwaukee County deputies should be in the federal courthouse hallway (my memory of the Federal Marshalls waiting outside with the pejury situation....the courtroom isn't the place for someone getting arrested) to take Patrick AND Nikki into custody to run the 'charging you both - confess this was all your idea Patrick or else Nikki will ALSO get charged.'

reminds me of the kettlemans in better call saul. Eventually they give in to the husband being arrested for the crimes because the alternative is both going to prison.

On a slightly unrelated note, can you imagine how haunted the half hovel must be? Think of all the ghosts who were both victims of the socio-economy and the Butcher of Oakland Avenue in life. There is probably hundreds of spirits, malevolent and benevolent alike. I bet Ed and Lorraine Warren wouldn't want to get within 50 feet of that ungodly structure. The story alone would make Zak Bagans want to go live off the grid.

Since metal was haphazardly brought up earlier in the thread I may as well mention that I was going through my sludge metal playlist while jacking it and came accross this song (technically its more proto sludge/hardcore punk but whatever) and realised the lyrics are downright uncanny in relating to fatrick, specifically his paranoia and mindset of everyone else being a stalkerchild and fixation with turning people calling him a fat faggot (with bitchtits) on the internet into his personal war

I don't know about these particular guys, but a lot of lawyers who do this do a high volume of contingency cases, often at the same "Slippin Jimmy" level stuff as Pat has here. If not that, then maybe they just get a flat fee up front.

In any event even if the bulk of these cases go nowhere, a high volume of them can still be a decent moneymaker.

Probably not other than conceivably perjury, and usually even with perjury you just lose your case. They usually reserve actual perjury prosecutions for when you get away with it and it changes the case result. That said the city could file a Rule 11 motion or other sanctions motion to make him Pay Milwaukee or Pay Evans.

If they intend to do that they have to notify you in advance of a Rule 11 violation to give you an opportunity to withdraw the offending filing(s).
