I’m gonna try and actually join tomorrow before work. It was just bad luck my days off synced up with when the server was down.

In truth and honesty, I like these redesigns way better, Haychel giving them so much thought while CParrotLady's redesign is more appealing and thematic. However, I have some fondness of the old esigns because they really push the 'Pokémon with guns' parodic element of Palworld.

I like the Lovelander design as well. I despise overt sexualization of characters in children's media as a means to appeal to an older audience. The alternative design is suggestive, but still reserved enough for kids not to "get it". Think miss bellum and animainaics kind of stuff for what I think games in this age range should shoot for.

That being said Japanese culture is distinctly different in the way it exposes young people to material like that. Something which users on this forum have debated about and generally take issue to.

The server is deployed with the new update. I am satisfied with the progress made so far with the sky continent. Structural damage has been reduced back down to 1. I will try to do additional work on the continent during non peek hours.
 
What ever happened to the little side-notification telling you when your pal is eating and what? That seemed to vanish, and I found it useful for when i realized they were out of food that was, well... actual food.

I keep getting a connection timeout when I try to connect to the server.

Try connecting again in 8 or so minutes. This is a problem with Wine and how it interacts with Palworld. It's widespread and effecting most servers which use Wine for windows compatibility on Linux servers.

Edit:Just saw you join. Looks like it rebooted on its own correctly.

Yeah, I can get in for an hour or two before the connection times out for a while, but it’s been working okay.
 
Well, with the abundance of Lucky Pals(literally the first one i caught), I am opting to only catch Luck and Boss Pals, excluding Egg hatches. Even found a decent place for a base over on the red island.

I have decided to set a cron job to restart the server every 3 hours starting at 02:00 EDT/06:00 UTC today. I'll see if this fixes the memory problem. If your connection times out, that is normal. Loading the server's data only happens when the first person connects. Since loading the whole server is longer than the timeout, if you are first you will timeout. Wait 5 minutes or 10.

I also have no idea why the guy who built the sky continent left behind legendary eggs in some of the buildings, but thanks for that.

I’ll say ever time I’ve gotten timed out, when I get back in, I fall through the map and land in the water.

Just as a heads up.
