There are people in this very thread promoting civil nationalism. "Based sikhs can integrate" levels of cope.
I don't really have an issue with individuals that have historically served the Empire. Gurkhas for example. I don't want an ethno-state per se, because I don't think those really work, but we need to dramatically cut down on the number of foreign influences and start shipping the undesirables out. I think it is very British to honour those that have served our causes, with restrictions and expectations.
In my experience I've never had an issue with Sikhs; they are often some of the nicest people to work with and they overall don't impose much. Unlike Muslims, they don't close off their culture or add some weird propaganda element. With that said, I am in Scotland so there are way less of them. I'd probably have a different attitude if I were in England.
In traditional British fashion, I honestly think at this point we should just invade the North and coastlines of France since the French authorities can't seem to manage the situation.
