Honestly, it depends. If Kayla were my daughter, her choice would be to divorce her husband or be written out of my will and disowned. I'd probably go completely scorched earth on Nick and coach her to fuck him over in the nastiest ways possible. If you're ever in a situation though with a close family member dealing with a partner like Nick though, it's absolutely maddening and heartbreaking. The reality is at some point you get so frustrated and angry at a person like Nick, that you do begin to question whether doing something fedposty is worth it. I can only imagine what Kayla's parents are thinking, but I'm sure they're not thrilled with her and I'm sure they're giving her similar ultimatums.

So Kayla is now absolved of all her own terrible decisions? She was in love with Aaron and was just as much the enabler to Nick and April as they all were to each other. The disdain should be equal to all of them. Her getting her own lawyer and postponing the case by two months was clearly a strategic move that likely Nick advised her on. Because now he can file motions as her proxy and if something sticks then that by default helps her out in her future hearings and provides her counsel to approach her case accordingly.

A super chat asked him if he found out who reported him to CPS and talking about it really hurt him. It is amazing as to how much it hurts him because he's so conceited I didn't think he could feel hurt by anyone.

Is Nick discussing the Pastor or the teacher? He's already ranted about them. He does seem to be on the verge of tears. Is it performative tears or is he speaking about a child who would actually bring him to tears in a human way?

They (the children) believe they (the parents) have learned their lesson.
