Frankly despite having higher required ethical standards on paper, I think prosecutors are just as bad or worse in actual practice (nothing personal). And yes I have a bias in favor of defense lawyers, as slimy as they are, but their ethical standards are to be entirely loyal to the client and, short of actually breaking RPCs or the law, their job is to get the best possible result for a single person.

Prosecutors, on paper, are supposed to be more concerned with justice and the good of society (in actuality they are more concerned with a high win rate and their reputation).

Based on very limited reading, the motion reads like White and not Rekieta. Obviously arguments he is already familiar with are better written. The April section just reads like an early draft to me.
