That's exactly what it means, only Android uses a package file with an .APK extension rather than an .EXE. The term "sideloading" has been around since the earliest days of Android, so it tends to be Android oldfags that use that term.This might sound retarded but does "side loading" mean you download the app from a webpage and install it like a .exe on a pc? If so I've been side loading things for awhile and had no idea it had a name besides "installing something".
