I was a huge fan of Pillars 1 and 2, I even shelled out $250 or so for the Pillars 2 Kickstarter back when it was in development.

Avowed was pretty much a garunteed sale for me, as I wasn't following the development process very closely, I just wanted more content from this IP in this world.

I didn't care much for PoE1's base game but I liked the White March DLC a lot. I also liked Tyranny, though I'll admit it's probably more the idea of what it could've been rather than what we actually got; the prologue conquest game and first act are great but then it quickly goes down hill.

KOTOR 2: Very decent followup to KOTOR. The story is good, but sometimes really straddles the line between being an interesting take on the Force and the Star Wars equivalent of le enlightened centrist. The ending portion was pretty damn rushed, which was a shame, since at least going by the restoration mods, it could have been pretty interesting.

Yes if you ever see a character who's above it all and anything Chris avalon's worked on that's usually a self insert he did the same thing in new Vegas with Ulysses.

It's probably going to be Outer Worlds Part 2, a functional open world vanilla paste title. Doesn't help that usually anything Pillars-related ends up being boring anyway. Functional to play, but extremely milquetoast/boring. I also saw some people shocked to see Josh Sawyer reposting those tweets, which shouldn't be surprising considering he has been an insufferable douche on the internet for over a decade. One that can make games and write good stories, but an insufferable douche nonetheless.

I don't know how this man can write caesar's legion then again I suspect that Chris Avalon actually did a lot more work on that faction than he lets on.

Watching the gameplay footage and it seems the only right way to play is sword and board (like skyrim!) since it seems alot of enemies just tank through everything you hit them with and jump across the screen if you attack them at range with no real way of blocking or dodging on time.
