When they fuck up completely apolitical things like this, I won't trust them for much of anything else.
The term for not noticing this this is Gell-Mann Amnesia: people being aware of a journalist butchering a subject they know a lot about, but going on to trust the journalist to be accurate about a subject they aren't familiar with. Frequently seen with firearms.

Yeah, Rey Jr. started wrestling at some absurdly young age. I think he was first working shows in Mexico when he was 14 or 15. He probably has the earliest debut of any major wrestler still working, either him or Meiko Satomura.
Dory Funk Jr. had a match this year, if that counts.

Saw a tweet in German just now and need to share it
Lighthearted.

Today, 36 years ago, Hans Gruber - our fellow countryman, entrepreneur, and talented tap dancer - died due to police violence at Nakatomi Plaza, Los Angeles. The suspected officer, John McClane, was never held accountable.

Dude had the biggest thighs I have ever seen on a baseball player.

I recall that was the most prominent thing in Eric Thames' scouting report when he was a prospect with the Jays, before he flamed out, then went to Korea and eventually had some success with the Brewers.

IIRC some prospect gurus (Keith Law?) also blamed massive thighs for Brett Wallace's failure.

Wallace came to the Jays in a side deal after the Roy Halladay trade. Scouts during his brief time with the Jays said that Wallace's thighs were so massive that he couldn't rotate properly to cover the whole zone naturally.
