I also was reading on him and his fanbase hating on the Dennis the Dune Director for not liking Return of the Jedi and it came across so childish. Coping that "well at least he admits that he was too old for it" and "it was meant to WRAP UP the story" as if his standards were too high and ROTJ is this cant be criticized touchstone like the first two are, fandom mythologizing when put up against a normal person and a normal take. yeah, Guinea Worm (Dracunculis - also known as Firey Serpent) were a subject we studied in high school biology, along with the rest of wormkind. They're commonly called Firey serpent for a reason. They're a type of nematode. As part of their life cycle they reside in copepods that live in water, which is how humans get infected - by drinking water with infected copepods in it.
