There's something so blatantly narcissistic about what Rekieta said that I'm surprised he himself couldn't even see it. Lying that a lot of people want you to interview Null, but you won't because of shota (fair under normal circumstances I guess?) is a blatant lie. The last time they had a real talk Null essentially told Nick to fuck off until he's sober, but the narcissist wet rat brain in Rekieta's head means he has to spin it into some kind of narrative where he totally owned Null. He does all this while simultaneously confirming that he did a shit load of coke and is still a drunk, bravo.
Like fuck dude, some people in this thread including myself were talking about a possible comeback or redemption arc for Rekieta, but that's just not possible. He has not shown a single OUNCE of remorse or guilt for what happened. Every single thing he has done since then is retarded pivot after retarded pivot that ultimately accomplishes nothing. I would have been able to believe in the Rekieta redemption arc if after reaching rock bottom, he just showed remorse and pled guilty, begging for mercy so that he could have a chance to clean himself up. It would have been much faster, much less messy, and actually given him some grace even with the users of this thread. But no. Rekieta had to fight and drag his heels every step of the way and smugly declare that he is so right and everyone else is so wrong.
I don't even care if he goes to jail at this point, it was never really in the cards to begin with on this. But I have sincere doubts that his plea is going to be what he wanted, even if he smugly declares that he beat the system afterwards. My ultimate Rekieta bingo card at this point is that he gets a shitty plea, smugly says it's what he wanted, and then breaches his probation and gets railed by the criminal justice system as revenge for all the innocent coke he's railed.
