I think that is more likely just the usual cluster b person trying to imitate normal human behavior. Cars and guns are masculine, he wants to be masculine, he imitates car and gun guy behavior. The bit about working through depression fits too. It just rings hollow because the person is hollow, it's not genuine, whatever damage causes people to develop cluster b personality disorders also makes them empty inside. A regular car guy just likes cars, and behaves accordingly. Pat imitates what he perceives as car guy behavior, and because he is kinda dumb and not very astute, it comes out all wrong and is obviously a performance. a bad one.

I just love the fact that at any point Pat could just block his ‘brother’ but never does. Kyle is one of the oldest pest accounts at this point, but Fatrick continues to go back and forth with him. Personally I am in favor of this because the piggy squeals are hilarious, but Pat has to have a humiliation fetish at this point.
