racing games - no not racist games you fucking ni

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
The Patch Notes for TDUSC's Season 3 are out, and the SARD anti-cheat had to be disabled, because to no surprise, it was preventing some players from playing the game.
This is what happens when you use an anti cheat from Armenia (a country best known for bringing us Christianity, and being a Caucasian post-Soviet shithole) that claims to have a 99% cheat detection rate
How hard is it to integrate EAC nigga?

The low sales for TDUSC (despite the devs claiming that most of the players play on console and that Steam charts don't reflect the player base amount) probably means that they can't afford to get EAC, and thus needing to a 3rd-rate anti-cheat like SARD.

I hate how the nitrous in GT7 Sounds more like boost than the actual boost does. Didn't know I was playing need4sneed

Kiwi racist what is the closest game similar to Grand Turismo 3 on pc? I remember playing it on ps2 and really loving the tournaments, gathering cash for cars, winning cars for gold medals and tuning some shitbox to be the fastest in its class.

The License Plate customization for TDUSC only allows you to put preset text on plates, you have to pay credits to add them (in a game where money already takes a long time to grind for), and you can't put your own license plate text. Also, not all of those presets are available on all cars, i.e. some of them can't be put onto Ferrari cars.

Also, money bonuses for races have been removed, which again the devs make an already grindy game even moreso.

Wake me up when they bring back The Crew 1 so you can play it offline. All these new racing games look really gay.

Did they misspell "license" in license plate or is that a foreign spelling? And how many other racers exist that allow you to customize your license plate at will? I think Midnight Club: Los Angeles allows you to not only customize your license plate, but change the STATE DESIGN of it as well.

Yeah, but you could write a naughty no-no word on that plate or even worse, something -ist. We can't have that!

It's also more like KT is too lazy to implement a word filter for License Plates, while NFS and Forza had no issues with implementing them.

That's the Britbong English spelling of license, which is licence. Like how color (US) is colour (UK) and favorite (US) is favourite (UK). James Bond has a licence to kill, not a license to kill.
And yes, I agree with @Thiletonomics in that the developers were just too lazy to implement a word filter. I'm pretty sure Need for Speed games didn't let you do that either but atleast the license plates looked normal and not whatever these are.

Rennsport is on steam, I completely missed it.

...and no one plays it, with peak of 100 in last week. ESL also pulled out from sponsoring meaning no big bucks for prize pools, so that might be the last R1 championship.

Why did they think again that releasing ANOTHER GT3 sim with the same tracks as any other sim is a good idea?

Releasing Rennsport in a market with the Assetto Corsa Competiziones, iRacings, and Le Mans Ultimates of the world just doesn't make sense.

All three games serve their own niche, ACC with official SRO sanctioned series which includes GT2, GT3, GT4, one make cars, and the M2 CS Racing. iRacing has the biggest oval racing scene and has ties with NASCAR, ARCA, and IMSA. Le Mans Ultimate is the official WEC sanctioned game so it gets all the hypercars and LMGT3 stuff along with the current tracks. Could argue that simcades like Forza, GT, F1 and MotoGP fill their respective niches as well.

What does Rennsport bring to the table? Nothing new! Same SRO-sanctioned GT3s as ACC, super limited track selection, non existent multiplayer, physics engine from rFactor 2, so on. So you can absolutely guess why nobody plays it once the ESL R1 esports thing came and went.

Oh and they plan to release Rennsport on consoles too as if there's anything to do in the game. Publisher? Nacon. Yes, that Nacon who also published the dumpster fire that is TDUSC.

Hell even iRacing is much better when it comes to GT3.

They've been teasing a PC port of Gran Turismo 7 for literally fucking ages at this point, and I'm curious if Sony is ever getting around to it. Forza Motorsport kind of shit the bed with the bare bones offering it had (compared to Forza 7), and honestly, I've been kinda looking for a good sim racer on PC that'll fill the void.

IIRC, it was mentioned somewhere on the Sony Hate Thread that GT7's PC Port was cancelled.

The Fujimi Kaido track will be making its return to Forza Motorsport for its 20th anniversary:

And the YOU'RE WINNER truck racing game will be getting a Steam release!

It's unclear as to which version this game will be, as in will it be the one with the infinite reverse speed glitch and the YOU'RE WINNER! text, or not.

If they will give us modding tools and the ability to finally finish this game for the devs, it will unironically be bigger news than anything the current games have going for them. Slop goes in, slop goes out, but THE RIG is eternal.
