A fan-developed Counter-Strike mod that was greenlit by Valve in 2017 and was on-track for an eventual Steam release has been forced to abruptly shut down. The mod in question was for CS:GO, and aimed to tweak and alter the gameplay experience to be more akin to CS 1.6.


They are now attempting a social media campaign to strongarm Valve into allowing the release of their mod, and even uploaded another trailer.
