This would definitely be the most hilarious explanation for what happened, Nick thinking he's outsmarting everyone failing again.

I think this has to be what I find so irritating. When they maintain focus -- as they did in some of the interviews, with Aaron and with Mama K, they're actually great. PPP is a good interviewer, very empathetic and good at putting his guests at ease and getting the best out of them.

You can easily feel when Andy and PPP are phoning it in and aren't interested in the topic, and it's a painful slog. When the topic (or guest) is good/funny, it's great. Ultimately you'll be best off waiting for their editor to make clips of segments for topics you're interested in, or waiting for someone like Elissa to do it
