2025 Israel vs Iran War

And still this won't bring down the population significantly. It baffles my mind how they breed despite war, economic hardship, uncertain future etc
The fertility rate in Iran is estimated at 1.44*. For comparison, it is lower than 1.66 in the US and 2.89 in Israel. Palestine is at 3.44.

*Edit: The exact number is disputed. UN puts it at 1.68 for example.

And refusing to acknowledge Iran's part in all of this.
I didn’t acknowledge Israel’s “part in all of this” either. I’m not moralising I’m just saying I think expecting Iran to surrender or to go out of their way to protect Israeli hospitals is retarded and I don’t see why that’s at all a logical decision from the regime. Neither was I impugning Israel for their treatment of Gazans (although it is generally considered genocidal by impartial observers), just highlighting it to point out that these are people you wouldn’t want to be at the mercy of, especially not if you’re the Iranian regime.

If the thread was full of Muslim shills saying “why doesn’t Israel just let them have their nuke”, I might have been inclined to disagree with that take. It’s not though so I’m responding to the equally dumb “why don’t the Iranians just take it laying down” take.

Like I said before: Israel shouldn't use human shields for their military installations.
But it's funny how they bitch and moan about it when they directly struck a hospital in gaza. Bomb around find out.
It's just retarded, nevermind there are plenty of legit military installations in Israel to target than a hospital filled with arab doctors.

Here's another view. I absolutely love those videos, and because most strikes have been at night we haven't seen some cool daytime action.

That's a really good view. Looks like arrow missiles can't even aim properly anymore. Most of those explosions are actually self-detonations to prevent them falling back and detonating on ground. Something is completely wrong with tracking that they are making these wild corrections, loosing all momentum and just farting around until rest of fuel runs out.
I don't know if that's a program or tactic used but there seems to be a mode where missile bleeds all of its energy and just stays in a spot. Something similar to flak barrage fire AA of WW2 when you'd shoot your guns into a cube that enemy will fly thru, guaranteeing a hit.

That's the meaning of collateral damage.
Maybe Israel should stop and think before putting their hospitals into designated target areas. Why is it Iran's problem now when they just want to have some fun and pull a couple of pranks on Israelis.
No harm done, boys will be boys

Its a perfectly legitimate target, same as any other piece of infrastructure. Do you think any military brass sits there and has a panic attack about the morality of hitting a hospital? Of course they don't. They try to avoid it because of the repercussions afterwards. Especially in a limited conflict like this.

If Iran and Israel were neighbours and there was a very real threat of boots on the ground, they would be even less discriminatory about what targets they hit.

I agree, I don't even think the optics are bad, despite the MSM kvetching about it. From what I am hearing the general public in the West doesn't care anymore if it's a hospital or a kindergarten. In the ME region Israel has set the rules of engagement to "we bombed that apartment building because it probably had at least one enemy combatant in it" as being ethical. It's going to take a lot to walk that back.

Not really:
1. Iran is already on the west's shitlist, hitting a hospital just give Israel further moral support, no matter how much people go "muh Gazans hospitals".
2. It is very inefficient in terms of infrastructure. Targeting a power station would have been more effective, though it would have resulted in Israel immediately cutting power to Gaza and bombing every power station in Teheran (that you can argue might have made Iran look better).
3. Is extremely precise considering the area nearby is a desert, showing they CAN aim but would rather target civilians.

That's what remains that Israel can do right now. They miscalculated their defenses and just dug their own grave. If they get no aid, 2 of their fronts collapse instantly.
It is obvous Iran was only being nice at this point and now comes the punishment that was promised.

Seems like it was very effective

Iranians demonstrated great restraint, but now gloves are off
New video shows impact this morning.

That's a direct hit. That skyscraper is scrap. I wonder if these bombs have optical guidance and that's why they are launched during the day.
