I hate what Toby did to Susie's backstory in the new chapters. it’s so fucking cringe. All the mystery of what led her to being a bully is completely gone now. Now it’s just revealed to be "oh we moved around a lot and also the kids at school thought I looked scary boo hoo". Give me a break.
That’s quite the oversimplification, you left out the parental neglect. One of the first two chapters (I think it was 1) talked about how Susie at least tried to fit in with the other kids with the kickball thing before messing it up. Her family doesn’t love her and she always gets torn away from the few friends she makes, and she feels like she’s not allowed to do things she enjoys because she’s not good enough (piano) which only adds to her inferiority complex. With all that compounding, she decided “if I can’t be liked, I might as well be feared so I can feel important”. That’s why she’s softening up with stuff like the tea parties, because she no longer feels like she has to put on a tough act to be respected.

According to that blogpost susie is the "new girl" yet somehow in Ch4 we learn that Toriel drove her as a kid to the diner? The new writers aren't even trying.
Susie doesn't mention when Toriel took her to diner. It doesn't conflict with her moving around either, Susie can move around, then the piano incident happens, then she moves to home town and Toriel takes her to the Diner.
It would be more clear is the flashback cutscene for Toriel's and Susie's first meeting wasn't cut and we could see their silhouettes, but the above series of events was my initial presumption of what happened anyways. Susie doesn't need to be young for Toriel to take her to the diner and with everything else she moved in most recently, I don't know why you would assume she was a child when she moved to home town. The kids don't even seem to know her very well.

One of noelle's blogposts on the spamton sweepstakes page mentions Kris playfully allowing susie to bully him and sniff his hair. Link
This is my first time seeing this particular post and holy shit what is wrong with Noelle. Imagine thirsting after someone who tells your childhood friend their mom wont miss them if they disappeared.

Noelle is the type of chick who needs to shove a towel down her pants while listening to a true crime podcast about a rapist serial killer.

Wait, if that was Susie's room, was she planning to hang herself? Why else have nothing in there but a single chair in the center of the room if you're not planning to tie yourself to the ceiling fan?
She's got nothing on her bed to the point that it's just springs. As for its placement, she's got nothing else in the room so not like any position is really "better" than the others—Though that aside, I'd honestly just put stock in it being there so the cutscene has the most real estate to work with as well as to frame it in a satisfying way. The chair turns into Device.Friend and the poster turns into that snake fist thing. Putting it anywhere else would make the framing a bit lopsided.

Has anyone tried NOT giving Seam the shadow crystals? I'm beginning to wonder, especially since the game forces you to hand them over when you go in the shop, maybe we shouldn't be giving them to him. Either way, that's probably the fork in the path that leads to [FREEDOM], for better or worse.

Until we have all crystals, there's no way to check if it does anything.

Having obviously been spoiled on the Sans\Toriel dance(I’m still early in. Chapter 4), it’s really weird to see how weirdly angry people are at them both. Unless I’m missing some important context that’ll come up in chapter 4, I don’t really get what the problem is.

People think Toriel was being irresponsible but I don't get it either, it's the weekend and she just saw you make plans to hang out at a friend's house behind closed gates earlier that day. I wouldn't be worried about Kris either.

Didnt toriel lock them out during the entire day of chapter 4 lol, and her kid only had some pancakes unless kris goes to the diner right? Theres themes of neglect intersperced in there that raise flags for me that all is not right but I also believe its too early to really hate a character despite how obnoxious that scene is lol.

He ate my pancakes >:(
And I can’t imagine it’s pleasant seeing your mom get collapsing-on-the-floor giggly drunk with a man who moved into the neighborhood like two days ago and keeping you up in the middle of the night with their partying, all while you (presumably) want your parents to get back together and your dad is struggling to even pay rent.
