I saw someone mention the response to the Order to Show Cause was sent but had not appeared. I was mistaken a while ago when I said Stabby was filing by USPS mail. Turns out Central District of California has a way for Pro Se litigants to submit filings electronically even without CM/ECF access, basically an upload form on the court's website. The difference being, I think, that the clerk reviews it and then sends it to CM/ECF. So, if something was actually submitted in response on the 31st it should have hit PACER unless the clerk ignored it or kicked it back.

In terms of why Acer would do this, he's an autistic retard. He can only see things in the most charitable possible light to himself so even if he understands forgery is illegal, what he's doing isn't forgery, and isn't illegal. Frankly as lazy as the legal system is I really don't think they'd let him get off on forgery. I think it's up in the air that if this is actually legitimate, that they pursue the $1,500 sanction against him. I'm pretty sure he's wrong that dropping a case will drop sanctions by default but again, he's a tiresome cunt that nobody with any sense wants further entanglement with. Easiest to not-my-problem out of it. Unless/until you're in a court that has to deal with him repeatedly in which case it's less work to get him labeled vexatious to avoid having to deal with repeated cases that you can't just squish at the outset.

In ~95% of cases you can predict how the government will act by assuming they do whatever's less work. Which sometimes ends up interpreted as pettiness or malice but most of the time, they don't care about you enough to get there.

The Court isn't going to bother sending this for prosecution. At best Judge will just rob Stabby of his win by dropping sanctions on the wereturkey that exceed his windfall. There is already a sanctions action before the court. Stabby if he did this, did it to try and end the case before he got hit with sanctions. As soon as the judge sees the defendants response of "Your Honor I've never seen this document and I didn't sign it. That's just a cut and paste of my signature from an earlier court document" he will drop the sanctions hammer on Gobbles. That's it. This isn't an issue of Criminal Forgery. He's not signing checks. It's an attempted fraud upon the court. There is no "innocent until proven guilty" presumption in such a matter. Each party can validate their own signature. And the Judge will almost certainly take a parties word for whether or not it is something they signed.
