Seems like she's talking about housing. The Telomerase Assassin should get booted from that place cuz I thought it was supposed to be transitional housing. Transitional being the operative word. You bring up a good point, Lucas entire adult life has been under his parents, jail, nut houses, group homes or half way homes. Aside a brief time with his GF. You might be thinking of the word Hebephilia which is for 11 to 14 year olds. Or you might be thinking of Ephebophilia which is for 15 to 19 year olds. Both would apply to Lucas, really.

You are 100% right. His disability is through SSD and his EBT is through the state. Yes, people on SSD get periodic reviews, but it doesn't have anything to do with how they spend their money, that's just idiotic if she thinks that. They are reviewed every year if you have a condition that is supposed to improve. Lucas has never improved and has been on SSD for years. He has been permanently disabled and those people only get reviewed once every seven years. IF Lucas ever earned more than $720 per month, his SSD bennies will be cut, and we all know all to well how much he loves living off the taxpayers in his dumpy $250 transition apartment. Dashed are his dreams of becoming a world-renowned embryologist who can pay to have anything doused in his lengthy telemeres.

Basically what she is claiming is that Phoenix House doesn't know what to do with Lucas yet, as he is over the 6 month limit on housing there but they are not keen on just dumping him on the street. So apparently they have been discussing providing him with a monetary "safety net" with which to find housing. To force someone to get a payee, they have to be ruled incompetent to manage their finances by a judge. That is a long process and is very difficult and the outcome is not a given. Even if he becomes homeless again because of his financial incompetency, it's still an uphill climb.

In Lucas case they seem to know he's never going to get better, both due to his illness and his lack of effort. I'm sure they aren't going to focus that kind of effort, he can get a PO box or use a shelter to pick his checks up and waste them for all they care anymore.

With the time and all he's had he should have been able to feed himself, get some basics, get a first/last/dep and still have some spending cash all taken care of.

If you are violating HIPPA, you are a bigger cow than Lucas, it's incredibly illegal. I thought this too, and maybe that was how it started, but she keeps saying shit like "Lucas' counselor said". She also ends all her comments with "allegedly" like that will cover her ass, so I'm pretty much 100% sure she's not a social worker or something (because they know that covers exactly nothing).

ETA SOFALAW really, REALLY wants to believe her, so that isn't helping. And nothing continues to happen despite her saying "he's gonna get kicked out for using his neighbor's phone to take dick pics" etc etc etc
