What is funny about this is that a sub in itself is essentially worthless. You aren't buying anything of value. You aren't buying anything you can actually use that is tangible. It is like buying fake currency in a mobile game.

You get something fairly important. You get to feel like part of a higher up social group. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing uncommon about that; plenty of people donate to charitable causes and/or volunteer not because they care about the thing they're helping with but because they like the feeling of being part of that philanthropic class of people.

The risk of spending thousands of dollars without realizing it, is very high with that kind of system.

I guess it's only a matter of time before this hit's DSP's stream and we have QueenFagginz bragging about doing a 100 tier 2 sub giveaway.

I agree. When I brought this up about the aptly-named KingofHypocricy I got all my messages deleted. I also got my messages telling people to pay attention when Phil lost DSPGaming monetization and people were sperging out about this being the end of Phil.

Paypigs and whales who do it purely for attention get to double dip with DSP too, because not only do they get the fancy badge and chat fame from his community, they also gain infamy in the detractor community. Negative attention is still attention. He wouldn't have half the support he gets if this paradigm wasn't true.

Some don't even need the badge. KG is continually posting stupid shit on TKoHF and people rush here to post about the new wacky thing he said. He loves it and everybody feeds into it. People refuse to just ignore that edgelord.

Honestly? Phil needs our attention and his more fervent fans need our attention. They want us to be provoked by their actions of enabling Phil. Thing is, people are beginning to get used to it and not care. Bad sign for Phil.

It works both ways, of course. A few folk literally hate Phil and his fans - a worrying sign. Phil is to be mocked for his antics, called put for his hypocrisy, belittled for his excuses - but to hate anyone? Thankfully this is only the case for not even a handful of people. I'd wager more "hate" detractors than people hating Phil, which is saying something due to the ratio of Pro-phil and anti-Phil people out of there.

Phil's his own worst enemy. He won the adsense battle but will lose the war against growing up soon. All anyone can, and in my opinion should, do, is just enjoy the rapid downfall.

Honestly, if Phil can flip back to the old status quo we also should be able to, and I also say that to myself. Of course it feels bad when a person many despite just slaps away the dust and makes big money in the process,it's literally not fair, but since when is life fair?
Phil will go back to his old former self as soon as the adrenaline stops flowing, there is a guarantee of 150% he will repeat every mistake which made him into this horrible mess of a person. And we will laugh about this mess, of whatever each individual tend to do.

Even if he finds a new MCN (does he even search?), so what? He will still be hated, by an ever growing size of people. He will always piss on people's legs, he will always get salty at absolutely everything and ragetweet his way forward. He will always get lazier and more horrible at playing videogames, there is no way out for him. As for now we should at least appreciate his cut wings, as he still makes just 10 shekels per day on youtube and is not protected by any network. So far except for that nothing really changed, not for him, not for us. Everything is quite normal.

DSP was 2 months from turning 30 years old when he introduced the 18.5 year old Leanna to his viewers. He was admitting to being in a close enough relationship with a barely-legal young woman that mommy let her take a 4+ train ride to spend the weekend at his place two states away. He made himself look like he either uncommonly quickly developed that relationship or was just plain (possibly more than) getting into a long distance verbal relationship with a minor.

If he had just enjoyed his relationship with her for a while and introduced her to his viewers later on and not disclosed how long they'd been together he would have been fine.

But DSP instead bragged and showed off his trophy which is the only reason he became open to accusations of being a pedophile. It's his own fault.
