You get something fairly important. You get to feel like part of a higher up social group. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing uncommon about that; plenty of people donate to charitable causes and/or volunteer not because they care about the thing they're helping with but because they like the feeling of being part of that philanthropic class of people.What is funny about this is that a sub in itself is essentially worthless. You aren't buying anything of value. You aren't buying anything you can actually use that is tangible. It is like buying fake currency in a mobile game.
