My mind keeps going back to the Anime Outsiders guy that has been on Nicks streams a couple times. Claimed he talked with Vic one on one at a con after he lawyered up and that Vic told him that he asked one of his detractors (the guy wouldnt name names, people in the chat were speculating either Schemmel or DC Douglas) what his problem with him was and that this person told him that he basically projects his dad onto Vic after being brought up in a conservative Christian household.
I had kinda speculated it before but yeah i think there is credence to the idea that a lot of these SJW hate mob types project their own family issues and insecurities onto their chosen targets. Makes sense, maybe they think theyre making right and correcting wrongs that were done to them, posdibly even saving face from their own behavior, now that they are fighting these battles and becoming advocates.
A variant of classic projection. Schemmel's situation I know less about, but Douglas' is basically burned into his lifestyle. He lives purely as a contrarian to his family's lifestyle. All of the issues in his life are always blamed on those that he feels are most like his family. He even LOOKS for targets to blame for his problems. His 'crazy sex, crazy drugs' as solution to everything mentality, which causes him to get in trouble for insane and indecent stuff, is always the fault of someone else. That goes for his politics too. The thing with him getting fired from Geico is a peculiar example, because its something some of us might stand by him with. He had to go and be exceptional about it and get even angrier at people for reacting to him. He's become the kind of person where all his problems are caused by 'Trump lovers' or 'crazy christians', ESPECIALLY when he's the most to blame for the issue. The bit about him blasting a friend of his father's, and arguing with his dad on Facebook for all to see was the point that made me feel, even though he's not in the Texas scene, he may have been the person Cody was talking about.
Schemmel fits the context more though, being involved with Funimation. However, I can't find too much on that with my Google-fu. It could also have been someone who isn't even on our radar. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some other VA not in the direct spotlight of those first few days of #Kickvic in February, but who still has weight.
The company was never specified. What'll be interesting is if Rial is in R1 as Ty recently said Igor/Iago wouldn't be R1 as that affects my Iago = Sabat, Igor =Rial theory.
The pool for Iago is either extremely small or a lot larger if they truly have kept their hands clean like Ty suggests, like clean enough to the point they aren't on most of our radars. The pool for Igor seems to be getting smaller and smaller.
In regards to an earlier post about Iago 'despising' Igor being a reason Sky couldn't be Igor, I'm not so sure we can know for sure what his actual feelings about Skye are. Remember, Ty said Igor 'thinks' Iago has their back. It is very likely Iago does things publically that implies he would cover Igor, like 'thirst' on her tweets.
Anyway, pointless theory-mongering over. If I had to energy to find a fitting meme, I'd make one about blue balls round 3 for Wednesday and no lawsuit updates. Please, oh please, let it be tonight!
