Heh heh. Anna takes up on Chris' offer to visit Chris at 14 BLC, only to hear the click of a lock behind her as she steps in, seeing Barb's dessicated corpse in a rocking chair, and Chris holding a box labeled "Mommy's Clothes", and him muttering something about putting something on the skin or else it gets the hose again.

I haven't read this whole thread, so please forgive my neurotypicality if this has been discussed before - wouldn't it be great for everyone involved if Chris hopped on the hipster welfare train and started a Patreon? Get x dollars/month, make y minutes of video a month. Get z dollars/month, start using twitter, etc..

It solves his money problem (and our dearth of content problem) and humors his delusion of being famous and well liked - people will drop ducats to hear what you've got to say.

Yes, it has been brought up before. I see one major problem.

When Chris does videos willingly, they are boring as shit. He rambles on for 10 minutes about mundane shit like vidya. Sure we would get excited about the first one, but most of our "analysis" would be about his clothes, the state of 14 BLC in the background, his attitude etc. Then the second and third one would roll around and we wouldn't care, and probably not pay.

When Chris is most entertaining is when he makes a video to yell at a troll/try to bang a troll/apologize to a troll. It would be a lot harder to pay him to do them.

That and there would be constant feuds between Chris and his "supporters" about everything. "Give me more money", "I am too stressed to make a video, but you should pay me anyway." "Sonichu". "Tomgirl" "Lesbian" "Autism".

When he was really into the money making binge and trying everything, he never tried charging for videos. But it probably occurred to him. He doesn't seem to want to do them, and I tend to think he is making a wise decision.

Only if it lasts forever does it solve his money problems. If he earns more than $1,090 a month, he loses his SSDI (depending on if it's earned or unearned income which would be another potential stumbling block).

Chris is in a situation where actually earning a living, even if he could do it for a limited period of time, endangers his long-term financial interests by potentially permanently losing him his tugboat.

Fuck she has changed since the earlier photos hasn't she, ok that's not a flattering picture but her face looks like it was hit by 20 years of life all at once.

That photo is a few years old. We 'sperged about it on one of the old forum due to her choice of outfit. The Dude (who I haven't seen in a while) actually met her and she's just as fucked up as Chris but in more of a "mental issues, plays vidya all day depression" sort of way.

Kidding aside, it seems Keurig isn't the best brand in coffee makers... However, this fire was a hundred percent Charbs fault for not understanding a cable shouldn't be used as a doorstop. Keurig can't be blamed for that.

To be fair, if Chris ever encounters this article he's probably going to spend 6 months on facebook demanding a new coffee maker.

I think he has some of Barb's hoarding tendencies, also more than a bit of narcissism. I don't know if he has any of these to a diagnosable degree. The only thing we really know from a clinical standpoint is he isn't crazy enough to commit (they checked last time apparently), and probably meets one of the listed impairments for SSI, presumably autism.

(I say probably because while it is possible to qualify for disability without falling into a listed impairment, it's really a pain in the ass, requires "objective medical evidence" you can't work any full-time job that exists, and usually takes a lawyer and a lot of time.)

Definitely some kind of reduced intelligence, I know saying Chris is stupid is a bit obvious but he's so terminally dense I can't shake the feeling there might be something more to it than just :stupid:
I agree with AnOminous that he has some hoarding tendencies, both physical and digital. He had an entire wall full of games he could browse, and showed the same resistance to throwing any of it away. Of course that could be a learned behaviour from Barb but it's 6 or two 3's really, same end result.
 
Could Chris ever pull down having a girlfriend if he were to lower his standards? Could he swing an autistic girl or are they too good for him too? Jokes aside, realistically what is the best that he could possible do.?

I fully agree he is genuinely unpleasant, I said it in relation to Chris an friends but he is anti-social when it comes to social interaction the best thing he could hope for is some sort of hobby group for a few hours a week, an even then without supervision he would end up causing issues an not being allowed to return. He has a talent for making himself not welcome at places or events.

With Chris unique brand of social skills, he can't really be part of a group. He has to call the shots (as we could see with his Blörms rebellion) and all he ever does is broadcast information, he never really listens.
And even if he engages in a dialogue, he's gonna be so close minded, it's sure to turn people away in the long run. If they don't cut all contact, they either go down the route of Anna and not really give a shit or they go down the Kengle road and become Chris' doormat.

So yeah, that's the thing I genuinely pity Chris for: No matter what you blame it on, his autism, his shitty personality or whatever, Chris is a person that has noone in his life I would deem a friend. And worst of all, his behaviour gives me the impression he just can't get any either.
