The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Saw this floating around. Probably reddit fuckery. If true then Druckmann probably has a book on nihilism in his office only for other people to see it.

Have to say this is the most coherent version of events that agree with all the leaks, the missing info from the leaks being the role the Seraphites play. I'm inclined to believe this, since on the surface it doesn't seem like a bad story, but definitely suffers from Cuckmann huffing his own farts.

Can someone explain what the WLF group is? So Abby is part of this group. Why are all these groups forming?

Prediction time: Naughty Dog is going down the same trajectory that BioWare did just at an accelerated rate. basically instead of the steady decline of BioWare they’ve gone gone from ME2 straight to andromeda.
Bioware's demise was entirely the fault of exterior corporate suits, Naughty Dog's is entirely internal retards.

I'll spare everybody the brain cells and summarize

Fallout 76 is bad
Let's bitch about some rando who left a comment for two minutes
The next 8 minutes is Crunch bad that's it
11 minutes in he talks about the leaks and states that it doesn't matter who leaked it because crunch bad
Naughty dog deserved this because of crunch but he doesn't condone it.
He avoids talking about the shitty leaks.
He had a fucking script for this and didn't think gee I sure could cut a majority of the repetition.
He then states he hates ruining people's enjoyment of games even though he spent the first few minutes of the video laughing at someone who he ruined fallout 76 for.

For fucks sake why does he take eleven minutes to talk about the subject, I mean he doesn't even have adds so it's not like he gets revenue from longer videos. Does he just like hearing himself talk or does he really think he needs to repeat crunch is bad for 8 minutes to really drill it into your head. Also he didn't talk about the leaks so we don't get to hear his hot take on why it's such a great game.

He's playing to his remaining fan base, why do you think he had so many cartoons images stuffed into his video.
TL;DR of a TL;DR: Jim Sterling is fat and stupid.
God Hand is an absolute Chad game only for the realest of motherfuckers.

I just came up with another, different story outline for this game or a sequal that honestly would have been a lot better imo
>Takes place 20 years after the original game
>Joel is Elderly, but his relationship with Ellie is frayed and basically dead because of revelations about the truth of their run-in with the Fireflies
>They both live in Tommy's community, now a large town in its own right
>Ellie has a young teenage son from an ex-husband/partner
>Ellie, not wanting to repeat Joel's "mistakes" and to be open with her son (or daughter, doesn't matter too much), tells him about their immunity to the virus, the Fireflies and what happened twenty years ago relatively early in the game.
>The child pretends to take it all well, but secretly leaves town after having found out from Tommy that the Fireflies on the East Coast overthrew the Boston Zone and are alive and well there, with Ellie figuring out where they are headed by talking to Tommy.
>Her child makes a cross country trek with the belief that they should sacrifice themselves for the chance at a cure, while Ellie desperately follows them in the hopes of saving the only family she has left.
>The child makes it to Boston and is going to be prepped for "surgery" as Ellie sneaks her way in and rescues her child. It is revealed during this hitman style stealth level that the city is on the cusp of rebellion against the Fireflies, and Ellie escapes with her drugged up child as the fighting breaks out and the city destroys itself.
>However, Ellies son/daughter is enraged and they have a bitter argument, that they were denied the choice they made to sacrifice themselves for the good of humanity, even though Ellie argues that they are being egotistical about their Christ-like pretensions, that there were other people like them that the Fireflies achieved nothing with and that she couldn't lose the only family she has left.
>They both return to Tommy's community, but they are embittered and angry. The child soon after leaves on their own, not telling Ellie where they are going. Ellie visits Joel and takes a seat next to him on his porch. She begins crying and as she hugs him simply says "I fucked up".
The main theme of the Original was about the growth of a relationship between surrogate parent and child, the building of family and a second chance for Joel. This game would be about the breaking of a relationship between mother and child, the breaking of bonds and the end of a family.

That would be really good actually. I think the only way we could make TLoU2 worse is by adding gay sex minigames.

Maybe that would make it better, I don't know.

I like this theme. I was thinking something along the same lines except keeping it with a younger teen Ellie who starts to resent Joel for lying and not letting her choose at the end of the last game. Have Ellie learn one of her parents are alive and have her go out on quest to find the community where they live. Joel takes off after her. The game is split between playing as Ellie on her quest, and Joel in pursuit. Eventually toward the end of the game they would team up again and you would play through levels as Joel with Ellie just like the first game.

That would be the first act. I haven’t thought of how it would ultimately play out but but you could have Ellie’s mom or dad turn out to be evil or have the whole thing be a trap for someone to capture Ellie. Joel would have to rescue Ellie and probably die in the process.

I do think part 2 should have been about Joel and Ellie’s relationship unraveling

Dilation minigames.
Japan already did it.

Yeah Marlene got shot in the face. But a remaining firelfy telling Ellie what Joel did would be a counter to this scene where she believes him.

Jesus fuck. That scene alone makes it look so good. The framing, the sound, the conversation, and the delivery. Joel comes of as a selfish monster, cause he is, and it sets up something so good.

THEN THEY FUCKING RUIN IT WITH DIALTORS AND "MUH LGBT" SHIT!

Fucking christ. That's the worst part about all of this. You can see genuine talent still, but we get social values of the creator pushed through instead.

Can he even be considered the bigger monster compared to the useless fireflies?
Friendly reminder that every zone the flies """free""" inmediatly goes to shit

Well I mean if you people didn't burn the gays during the middle ages we wouldn't have to teach you how to be decent human beings. Why should you have entertainment, you are awash with sin. Your religious zealotry will not be tolerated.

Theres a written or audio piece on the final level that reveals there were other immune people that the fireflies experimented with and failed utterly. Can't remember the details because I played that game last seven years ago.
