Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

I've been playing solo and I didn't notice anything weird going on on my end either. Though I'm european so maybe europe is also more chill in general, I dunno.

I forgot to mention that part of the community that pisses me off though it shouldn't. The amount of CONSOOOMerism that surrounds this game is mind blowing. Some people have spent at least a hundred if not four hundred dollars including the monthly fee on mog station shit alone. The amount of fantasiang is way out of control because at one moment people will play au ra then the next miqo'te then viera within weeks apart. They'll also release overpriced and way too expensive outfits and day one I'll see several people wearing them like it's a fashion of the day thing and for whatever reason it makes me angry.
 
I honestly don’t give a shit about how people spend their money on Mogstation. As long as we don’t get blatant p2w items it doesn’t bother me.

That said I do love the tard rage over the new mount. It’s almost as if the whole game is worked on by an entire team and Yoshida isn’t the only person doing everything.

The thing is, you can buy all of those mog station items for 5 bucks or less on a site that sells keys and you'll never get in trouble for doing so. Only a fool would buy directly from SQEX and yeah, I dunno where people think the entire team worked on umbrellas when it's one guy doing it.

I try not to either and it's ridiculous to get mad at that, but there's always that thought that the easier it is to obtain income, the more complacent employees or companies become. And right now they make a brutal killing off of fantasias and mog station goods.

you think thats bad there are emotes that can only be gotten by buying whatever collectors item SE decides to see to the masses, artbooks and osts that range in the hundreds of dollars come with exclusive "Look at me i spent a shit ton of money for this one emote now watch me spam it over and over" emotes.

I nearly forgot about the Odin statue until I read this post.

Seems like the only place you can get it now is through eBay and almost every listing I've skimmed through are all considered "opened" and "used", so not only would you be paying out the ass to get the figure if you wanted it, the activation code for the Zantetsuken emote will most likely have already been redeemed.

I agree with the p2w stuff. That's why I can forgive Mogstation. Most of the items there are purely cosmetic and what isn't cosmetic isn't something that can be used to have an edge over other players. I don't understand why people are mad about the mount either. It's an optional item, no one is telling people to buy it and if autistic people want to spend their money to get it, then let them? It's not your money being spent so who gives a shit?

I don't see it as a bad thing. Yoshi and his team have done a pretty good job of giving us quality content most of the time, so I have no problem supporting them and helping them keep the game alive for as long as possible. With how good they've been doing things, I don't think they'll go down the ActiBlizzard path. If the devs have enough humility to cry in front of the players of their game to apologize for giving sloppy work, I doubt they'd become complacent later down the line.

Those statues and the like are meant to be collectibles for the real hardcore fans to buy and display in a nice case in their homes. Since the cost of making such an expensive figure is so high, the price is made high so that they can make an actual profit off of it since I don't think they intend for it to really fly off the shelves. Yeah, you'll have those annoying retards to spam the emotes or dish out the money for those emotes but I mean, if they want to spend hundreds of dollars to spam an emote than let them. The money is coming out of their pocket, it just means they are a couple hundo poorer than you. Not trying to be like a shill or anything because I'm a cheap bitch and you wouldn't catch me dead spending that kind of money just for an emote, but what I'm trying to say I guess is to try not to be angry about things you either have no control over or don't really significantly impact you in anyway besides mild annoyance. You're just wasting your energy at that point being mad at someone because they spent 100 dollars of their own money on something stupid. It's capitalism, people are going to retardedly spend their money on retarded things. If it isn't giving them an unfair advantage over other players, I wouldn't worry about it.

The regulars of r/shitpostxiv still seethe over the umbrellas to this day. It’s really funny seeing them throw autistic shit fits while they still stay subbed to the game.

For anyone playing on the NA servers in Crystal, the servers are getting hit with a massive DDoS attack that makes the game unplayable. It'll keep booting you out and giving you the Error Code 90006.

So Fs in the chat. Looks like we don't get to play today.

You can tell it's made by a NA player. Complaining about how strats are bad is typical NA. When you play on JP, you just have to stfu and go with whatever is prescribed.

My sub is running out soon. Doing seat of sacrifice on NA is getting boring; the quality of players is quickly diminishing. If you vet players, most of them can't perform on a basic level. You look on fflogs and half the players have 0 logs in anything ever or they're low single digit gray. You have to wait forever to get a decent party together and there's plenty other games I can play where I can just open the game and play it.

JP players definitely are very different. Way less complaining, usually able to perform at a basic level at minimum. Sure, they typically won't go as fast as a NA superstar party, but hell, I'd take slow and steady over unreliable.
