I've had some very shitty experiences with public schools, and I've learned you should NEVER give the district the benefit of the doubt. You could have a literal actual demon from hell as a child, and there's still at least a 50/50 chance that the district is the one really at fault for things being fucked up.

I agree that Chris Is absolutely too Stubborn, disgusting, Insane and far too Idiosyncratic a subject for a professional series. But Its not impossible for him to get featured on some form of Daytime Tv novelty show, like per say Hoarders, The Undateable's, and especially The Jeremy Kyle Show. There are tonnes of far worse, more reprehensible people than Chris Or Barb that have been featured on National TV. Trannies, Abusive mothers, Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Wife and child beaters and general delinquents of society. These people are the endless fascination of many Television viewers because even outside of the Farms, laughing or being fascinated by contemptible people Is more ingrained In our wiring than anyone would like to believe. Im not saying he'd get a top rated Documentary studying or anything, but its definitely possible for him to get a spot on some form of doc shows, like the aforementioned Hoarders or any one of those low rate reality tv series run on MTV Perhaps.

While I agree that the school district could have been at fault its very clear that mainstream education didn't work for chris. He never learned proper social skills and obv didn't get the kind of help he needed. I'd much rather take a 50/50 chance at my son having a normal life than the adult autistic child that chris became. Honestly I have my doubts about the legitimacy of the story chris tells about the "abuse" he received in greene county. Chris changes the facts of the stories he tells so much I think it's much more likely he exaggerated or fabricated the events.
Considering his autism, it's entirely likely that holding it between his fingers normally is bothersome. He also could have severe arthritis, though I've not seen any proof of this.
