Just curious, what is the end game of this game? What would be cool if you kinda start out at the bottom as a piece of shit among all the ugly fat degenerate people in the streets and work your way up to a life of luxury, hot sexy clean women and all that. Is that even something that's intended? Or is the only endgame that you will become the most ugly scary giant degenerate killing machine in a swamp full of people you loathe? I mean there's gotta be some kind of motivation for the grind. Just "existing" in that ugly overcrowded place with all the ugly people around is depressing. Even owning a pretty car wouldn't offset the depression from that. I remember GTA 3 where you eventually would get to that third island that had some nice places there, more nature etc.

Review scores are a bad metric, i think the game will probably sell well based on release hype alone but will be largely forgotten in a short amount of time as most generic AAA releases, the james cameron's Avatar effect.

If it really ships as a broken mess is going to get review bombed though and that will likely stain the scores even if they patch it to decent levels. But even at 40 user score game will still sell. worst case scenario it is a Fallout 76 which would be hilarious to see. but how fucked can it really be? The potential for salt is basically all that is interesting about this game.

There are millions of screeching reddit autists fighting over 3080 gpus and PS5s to play CB2077 at launch who are hyping it as the new benchmark for super duper mindbending new tech, looks like they are getting a last gen game with plenty of bugs but the hype trainers and preorder fags deserve to be burned by now for keep giving money blindly and encouraging the companies to pull bait and switches or give them broken products , they are basically beta testers who many are grown ass adults and should know better.

the cliche of cyberpunk is "bring down capitalism and corporations" but its a genre that its kinda more style than substance and i wonder just how woke they are getting with that, even the cyberpunk aesthetic seems very superficial
Witcher 3 only got lucky with the normies, because it came out at just the right time. Game of thrones was at its highest, it was compared to Skyrim and it was considered "dark and mature" setting. These said normies spew the same BS about how "CDPR is the greatest company ever because they gave away free dlc!!! And its expansion pack was an actual expansion!" keeping in mind that this is most likely their first CDPR game they have played. The vampire dlc was okay, but had some stupid ideas with how you get your own vineyard that you will never use and felt more like it was added in at the last minute. The story itself was eh, had some good fan moments if you read the books but thats it. The other dlc was shit and felt like a side quest but with more flair.

I've played alot of CDPR games, but not because I'm a fan or anything, more like I just happened to play them. TW1 was garbage and felt like it was trying to be like Gothic, TW2 was meh, mediocre at best. TW3 was their lucky break, but these new fans will continue to claim that the series was always great. CD is just another company that manipulated people with how it released its DLC, console players aren't used to free shit but when the game was nearing its release date, they were claiming to pc users that they would be given the devkit to make mods. Meaning mod makers would have the same level of freedom as the devs did, but when they released the "devkit" it turned out to be completely gimped. Just like how they gimped the port of Saints row 2.

TL;DR They got lucky with release date at 2015, they manipulated normies with shitty free dlc and they butchered Saints row 2 port because they hate pc players.
Maybe if the game came out like 5 years ago when Vaporwave and 90s retro shit was still relevant, i think they missed the timing.

The stream just got taken down
I'm so fucking sick of this casual censorship. Fuck the streaming companies for indulging in it so happily when these damned game developers demand it, and fuck CDPR for demanding it in the first place.

It's not like hiding this garbage for another week is going to make an actual difference at this point. The game's gonna have these problems at launch whether it gets leaked ahead of time or not.

It didn't help that there were around four-five faggots spamming a youtube link to a guy eating shit.

Yes, I fell for the bait and clicked on it before they did it non-stop.

Kill me.
I don't guess there's any way to close the chat on that garbage site, I spent 30 minutes trying to block it with ublock.

It sucks having to wait for cyberpunk to see hardcore penetration... if only there was some other outlet or form of media where I could fantasize about going to pound town on shitty looking tattooed people.
You dont get it. 21st century 3d sex is the new future.

In my opinion the law should now allow this in the first place. It's not like anyone watching your recording gets to play the game for himself. The whole point of a game is to play it, there is no reason why copyright should protect recordings of it.

But even with the law we have, whilst I'm not a legal expert or anything, I think this would fall clearly under fair use.

According to wikipedia: "[A] reviewer may fairly cite largely from the original work, if his design be really and truly to use the passages for the purposes of fair and reasonable criticism. On the other hand, it is as clear, that if he thus cites the most important parts of the work, with a view, not to criticise, but to supersede the use of the original work, and substitute the review for it, such a use will be deemed in law a piracy"

If we look at the case of Sargon vs. AkilahObviously, we can assume that a fair definition of being a parody/criticism does not require actual commentary being overlaid, but a mere choice and arrangement of clips can already be sufficient in expressing a message. From the context of this stuff being shared early on during a game's launch, the purpose is obviously to share an opinion about whether a game is worth buying, which can clearly be seen as a form of criticism or review. No one in their right mind would say that these little leaked clips supersede the use of the video game in any way.

Now, some have pointed out that there is a user agreement that forbids this stuff, but I'm not sure if this would hold (again, I'm not a legal expert!), because I think that the general law supercedes contracts. Like you can't make a contract selling a slave or something. You can write the contract and put your signature on it, but that doesn't make it legally valid.

But even taking this into account, this would only apply to the person creating the footage. Anyone who downloads the footage has no such agreement with CDPR. Thus even if the leaker acted illegally, someone redistributing might not. I think that's how journalists are protected in whistleblower cases, at least in theory, or so I heard at least.

To make it more obvious, I think if someone gets his hands on footage, uploads it on Youtube with selective editing showing certain aspects and commenting on them, then I think nobody could argue that it's NOT fair use.

Again, not a legal expert, I could be wrong about all of this, but imo their actions might very well be illegal and I would hope that someone sues them for this. Probably won't happen because most people sincerely see CDPR as the poor victim who just wants his fans to enjoy the game properly and not be tainted by ebil ebil spoilerinos, and their feefees about this subject justify literally anything, even publicly making very overt threats to individual people. You know the big guys have won when people will defend big corporations suppressing the populace on a global scale and entertainment producers having the power and the holy right to dictate what free individuals are allowed to talk about or not and actually see those corporations as the poor underdog everybody is being mean to. I feel disgusted and ashamed of being the same species as these retarded hormonally hijacked Disney-cuckbots.
