True, if a Republican managed to win the recall election in California, they would be facing an uphill battle with a Democrat supermajority in both legislative chambers, not to mention only serving about a year before facing reelection. That said, Breitbart's Joel Pollak outlined a bunch of things that someone like Larry Elder could do in that brief window of time. The rot that's set in wouldn't be cleaned up overnight, but steps could be taken to show that there's a better way.
That is, of course, assuming that Dems don't cheat the recall effort like they've been doing for years now, so we'll see. Point is, Bob's a moron.
As has been discussed frequently here and in the coof megathread, Ivermectin is one of the safest drugs ever developed, it's been used in both humans and animals with great success, and there is no real difference between the veterinary and clinical versions of the drug. Are some people being stupid and ingesting more than they should? Probably, though I'd imagine the number is very small and being overhyped at the insistence of Big Pharma (gotta sell more shots, after all). Does that mean we should stop investigating the potential links between a safe drug and reduced illness from the coof? Of course not.
