Absolutely this. Alex is a narcissist. Not only would people paying attention to Ari take attention away from Alex, Alex is going to do anything possible to stop Ari from forming attachments from anyone but Alex. Narcs loathe it when other people touch their things. Ari isn't a person or even a pet as far as Alex is concerned; Ari is a doll that happens to move, make noise and mess itself.

There's a very old story about two women going to a judge, each claiming to be the mother of this baby. The judge tells them that if they can't agree, he'll chop the bub in half and give them both a piece. One woman agrees to this because she doesn't care for or love the bub, she just wants to win and lord it over the other woman. It makes no difference to her whether the child is dead or alive.

I think she can chew meat, but cutting it up and getting it to her mouth is the issue. I actually applaud her for finding a workaround that doesn't mean she needs Nina or Noah to feed her like a baby.

As far as her having unprotected sex, I'm more horrified at the fact that she finds sex partners, and I know I'm soooooo original in that thought. But the fact that her pound town partners have to maneuver her limp, emaciated legs into a fuck position just. . . Horrifies me. Like, she's not even a sex doll; modern sex dolls can often hold up their own weight and sit independently and shit. Not much going on in Alex-Land, at least not much that she's choosing to show us. She hasn't been as active as usual in stories, and she hasn't posted many pictures of Ari at all. Both those things are pretty unusual for Alex. Last time she was relatively silent, it turned out that she was "falling out of her wheelchair" (or whatever actually happened), and Noah was getting hauled off to the hospital at 3 or 4 times the legal limit.

They're at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. I had assumed it was punishingly hot in Chicago, but Friday's high was actually only 79 F. Most of the pictures are taken at the sign at the front of the zoo, and there aren't any actual pictures that feature zoo animals. Did they actually even go in? Who knows?



She's got Ari's legs pinned under her own again. What could possibly go wrong?

I previously mentioned a photo Noah posted to his stories that I thought I'd accidentally deleted without posting here, but I found it during a computer clean-up today. I can see some resemblance between Alex and Ari, but that baby is the spitting image of her father. Image is from Noah, so "my momma" = his mother, not Alex's.

I didn't see whatever this is and took these images from Reddit. I think this is a TikTok? Anyway, he captioned it "road trip to the burbs." These images appeared on Reddit 7 days ago, so it's around a week old. The gorls there initially thought she'd bought an accessible van, but the second image shows that it's got the usual cab signage in it. It does make sense that she wouldn't need a van of her own in a city with as many transport options as Chicago.

Also stolen from Reddit. I didn't know that Alex had a college degree, but it turns out she does. And, before she squawks about ableism, I didn't assume she was degree-less because of her disability. I assumed she was degree-less because she's dim, incurious, and lazy.

Anyway: her degree is actually in Rehabilitation Services! That's wild, when you look at all the "disabled mom hacks" she's been showing us.

In summary: more happy families, but not much content. Noah is around and looks clean(ish). Alex continues to love herself more than anyone and anything else. Ari was not fascinated by the zoo/zoo entrance, which is not shocking, given that she's 5 months old and just wants to be cuddled.

Editing to add: as I said, that's the entrance sign. I located the gorilla statue, which can be found at 2045 N Lincoln Park West, in Lincoln (Abraham) Park. Did they even go to the zoo, or did they take photos in the general area of the zoo and call it a day? It's not like the zoo is meaningful to a baby that young, but what an odd lie.

It was heartwarming and I can’t help but hope Noah will fall in love with Ari and being a dad and get custody. Stranger things have happened and he kinda dresses like a weird old dad already. I know, rainbows.

I admire the optimism, but neither of this sorry pair is fit to parent a sea monkey, let alone a baby.

There is something very important Alex has revealed in these photos.
Look at Ari's head - that's a textbook case of plagiocephaly, caused by her constantly being placed flat on her back and never held.


Alex was warned months ago by many that this could develop, and clearly ignored the concern as 'trolling'.

Ari will more than likely need a corrective helmet. Alex won't like that, as a tard helmet will ruin her 'cool mom' aesthetic.

This thread has given me rage before, but seeing the evidence of pure narcissism and terrible parenting manifested into a infant's deformed skull...yeah this a new level.

PL but if she needs a helmet/doc band, she needs to do it NOW. Theres a window of time of how effective those helmets are, with results starting to diminish after 6 months. You can still do it at 6 months or older, but it will take a much longer time wearing it since the bones of the head have started to harden. (One of my sons had moderate flattening on of side of his head, due to him being 2 weeks past his due date and smooshed up agiasnt my left pelvic crest. He got his helmet as soon as possible, and it was fine in like 4 months) Basically the longer the waits, the longer it takes to fix, if at all.

Edit: how long do you think it will take for her redditors to point out Ari's head, and Alex blames it on "delivery" despite it being a c-section? Lmfao

Alex update via Reddit-- big news, if true:

The timing does line up. She moved into the Chicago apartment around November of 2022 (there was no official moving date given on her Instagram, so that's approximate). A 12-month lease is likely, so they'd be coming to the end of that. To recap, Alex's parents are divorced, and her mom is in suburban Illinois. Noah's parents are still married and live in Florida.

They didn't get the Chicago apartment until after Alex was pregnant with Ari, and I've never seen how Alex's "influencer" salary was paying the rent (plus all the other associated living costs). My theory has been that Noah's parents paid for (or heavily subsidized) the Chicago apartment for their son, his pregnant girlfriend, and their future grandchild. It doesn't look like it's been a success, financially or in terms of personal stability, so they're giving an ultimatum. No evidence to support any of this part, but it's my pet theory.

All of Alex's recent money grabs hint strongly at financial worries, and it's obvious to her social media audience that the family experiment isn't working-- and that's based on what she actually does show us. That apartment isn't cheap, and they really need more room.

We don't know a ton about Noah's parents, except that they seem more stable than Alex's family. We also know that Noah has criminal charges stemming from assaulting his own father, so that's fun. I've seen his family's Facebook photos before-- maybe in this thread?-- and they seemed overall pretty decent. I guess I'm just hoping this all leads to stability for Ari, plus lots of grandparent cuddles and less time spent lying unattended on the floor.

I assume this is goodbye to caretaker Nina. She was always Alex's caretaker, and it's not known how much she was doing for Ari. She lives in Chicago with her husband/boyfriend (not sure which he is), so I can't imagine why an untrained caretaker would uproot her entire life and move.

On a side note, as someone still raising a toddler. Who else here is both anticipatingly waiting and both horrified at when Ari enters the terrible 2s? Wtf is Alex or Noah for that matter, going to do with a constantly screaming, wild, running, climbing, crawling behind the entertainment center, toddler starts roaming free? On the one hand. The thought of Alex being utterly helpless is hysterical to me. On the other, I really hope someone other than Noah is there to help. I do not trust his temper around a 2 year old and can very easily see him snapping and harming the poor girl.

Even in able bodied, mentally sound parents, the 2 year old phase is a test of saintly patience. 2 year olds are something else. They WILL figure out how to undo childproof locks, they WILL figure out how to climb onto a counter and grab a dangerous item. They WILL incessantly nag at you untill you feel like you will loose it.

Not trying to scare any would be parents. Its also one of the best childhood phases ever. A laughing toddler is like magic

The only time Ari seemed to actually get any decent cuddle time was when Noah's mother came to visit.
If they are moving in with family, great.
If not, that's very concerning for Ari.
They are not only losing the support of Nina, but they are dropping off the radar of the Illinois DCFS.

I totally agree with @SpiceyHuman that once Ari starts crawling and toddling around he's going to get frustrated. She is easy for Noah to manage now, as she just lies there on the floor/table and stays where she's put. He's got a hell of a shock coming at how fast kids can move.
We know he has form for domestic violence, on his father and more recently on Alex while blind drunk.
I do also fear that he could snap and harm Ari.
