Trainwreck Alex Dacy / Alex Dzimtowicz / Wheelchair Rapunzel - 50% wholesome disability influencer, 50% that cash me outside girl

The way she sits folded in half and leaning forward is so unnatural and uncomfortable looking. Is it all because she doesn’t want to use the chest strap on the chair?
She has very little trunk strength to help her sit upright. Her chair is tipped back so she doesn't fall out.
Who knows when she last saw an Occupational Therapist to adjust her chair, or a Physiotherapist to help her maintain her strength and balance.

I'm not a mom, but I feel like you'd want to buy most things cheap for a baby. Not cheap as in crappy, but cheap as in inexpensive. Cheap food. Cheap clothes. Cheap diapers. The only stuff you wouldn't cheap out on is practical stuff like cribs and strollers.
Yes and no. Cheaper diapers tend to have more poop blowouts or pee leaks. Or the straps fail more frequently leading to more changes.

Generic isnt always bad though. The costco brand of diapers is better then name brand, i think, imo

Is she desperate and unethical enough to provide him with drugs to get him back in her pocket if the fancy steaks don’t do the trick?

I don't think there's anything she wouldn't justify as a means to an end at this point.

She doesn't have fucking bowls for her baby in her new apartment. You can get entire sets of dishes at Target for like $5. There's no way Ari is living with her.

I don't really see how there's any room for debate anymore, just given the immediate change in frequency she posted Ari content after moving it's clear she isn't with her the majority of the time.

Generic isnt always bad though. The costco brand of diapers is better then name brand, i think, imo

Many such cases

That's the word I was looking for - "generic". In my experience, generic is rarely ever significantly different from name brand. Stuff diapers, wipes, and other single-use items that you need to use a lot of (I can't even imagine how many hundreds of diapers a single baby would go through) are the things you'd really want to get the most bang for your buck on. A crib is a proper piece of furniture that you can get years of use out of with multiple babies. That's the kind of thing you'd loosen the purse strings for. A singular meal that your baby will forget by the end of the day? Nah. She's not even old enough to appreciate an expensive meal. As cute as Ari is, if I pay good money for a meal at an expensive restaurant, I will not be pleased if there's a squealing baby at the other table.

Also of note: Has this woman never heard of socks? I get that it would cost a fortune to get shoes made for her specific foot shape, but she must be able to wear socks.

Seeing an OT or PT would mean she would have to admit she is disabled. She screams from the rooftop that she's disabled but won't do the bare minimum to maintain her body.

Costco usually is a brand name product, just with the Kirkland name slapped on it. Same with a lot of beauty products and food from Trader Joes, just an FYI.

alright. I’m gonna go on a mini rant mostly about Reddit.

Ari turned 1. Yay! There’s a TikTok of her and squishy Hitler singing Ari happy birthday. The comments are fucking insane. I know she probably doesn’t have Ari 90% of the time, and she’s a shit mom.
But fucking hell.
Ari is a year old, you aren’t obligated to throw an IG worthy bday even if you’re an “influencer”

I can try to upload the video later. Am retarded with that tho. Plz tell me if this is fucked up upon uploading lmfao.

The weird circle jerk of Reddit is forever fascinating to watch

Honestly, Alex not throwing a one-year-old a lavish party is one of the more relatable and laudable things I've seen in a while. If that was her main party, which I doubt.

Ari doesn't give two shits about a "birthday sash" and the cake thing looks fine.

Ari does still have that "itchy" red look about her face and limbs and I hope they're figuring it out with her doc - OR it could be a filter artifact. Not sure. Either way I'm not about to call CPS, just hoping they have at least some Benadryl on hand for when it's bad (but let's face it, they DEFINITELY have Benadryl on hand for Ari).

I just realised we have never heard mention of any mother's groups or anything like that. Is that a thing in the US? I know they moved, but when you have your well baby checks I assume the Nurse could help link you with a local group.

Not really. You have to seek them. In the US you leave with a baby and they tell you Godspeed. They do exist but I never joined any because, well, im on the farms ffs.

We don’t have nurses visit at home, a ton of mom groups are church based or some other niche and it really is hard to find a place in the world at that point.

The Reddit crew needs to chill. The videos we've seen are at Alex's apartment, and I bet more happened at the Smith house. One of their grandsons shares a birthday with Noah's dad, and they always have a sweet-- but simple-- joint celebration for them (it's on Noah's mom's FB, but there's no need to share that here). Big first birthday blowouts are so the parents can perform for social media: the kid doesn't know it's different from any other Wednesday, and some get upset if too much is going on at once.

Alex made reference to a themed birthday party, so it's also possible that a bigger party is happening later-- on the weekend or something, maybe. Or maybe Alex got drunk and forgot. Who knows?

I'm surprised Alex hasn't had a splashy blowout for herself Ari, but, hey, at least she got her Skims and new Jordans. Priorities!

Ari has often had some type of allergy-looking rash, especially since they moved to Florida. I hope a pediatrician is aware of that, and I hope that a responsible adult goes along for the appointments. I can't see Alex being the least interested in pediatrician appointments, so hopefully Noah and his mom go.

You can tell by the comments that a lot of these people are coming from Reddit.

I didn't clip all of them

But so does Alex's arm, so it may just be a filter:

I really hate that Ari has "her" own account. She was fully doxed, full name and birthdate, as soon as she was born. Social media, man.

And here's the birthday TikTok. Noah again looks like he's a hostage, but he's also trying to (gently) keep Ari from digging right in. Noah is touching Ari gently, whereas Alex just pokes her arm with one finger. I do love how Ari tries to pat that parfait (cake? whatever it is) with both hands, then gives in and goes at it face-first. Super cute, and, of course, it'll be Noah who cleans her up after.

I'm glad that Ari got here safely (as far as we know) and has becoming a chubby, happy baby. Maybe she'll someday know that she has a bunch of honorary internet aunties cheering her on . . . of course, it will be better if she never has to know any of that, but it's nice to be a kiwi auntie sometimes :heart-full:

Ari is by far the most cared for bub in all the threads that I personally follow on kf. She looks physically healthy, engages normally with her surroundings, appears to be hitting her milestones and clearly loves her dad. The rash/eczema is a little concerning, but if it's a reaction to something that can't be mitigated, like pollen from a common garden plant for instance, and the rash isn't bothering her, there's no reason for medication.

I have never been so happy to be made a liar in my life. Noah hasn't stepped up, he's leapt up, he's taken all our shit talking and wiped his arse with it. The next challenge will come when Ari reaches the age where she'll want to make friends and establish her own connections, but so far Noah is doing an amazing job; also his family in backing him up and supporting him when he needs it, and letting him fall when he needs to.

You absolutely know these same miserable faggots would be bitching about excess spending, and Ari not remembering it anyway, and only doing it for social, etc. if she did do something big.

Have the reddit people not realized that Ari doesn't live with Alex yet? We're only seeing a sliver of Ari's life now. She probably had a much bigger celebration at the Smith house. Also, who the fuck cares if they have a massive party for Ari's 1st birthday? She won't remember it. To her, it's just like any other day. A 1st birthday party isn't for the baby. It's for the family.

is throwing parties for your one yr old common in the US?

lots of my peers have kids now, and most people either don't do a 1st bday party at all, or have a small get-together with their fam. at that age they're too small to remember anything or appreciate a party, they're more likely to be irritated by the noise and the amount of people there. kids start getting real birthday parties for the 3rd/4th bday, when they can actually have fun at a party.

reddit moms do way too much, they're definitely helicopter parents who won't let their kids breathe, and then wonder why their little wonder can't do shit for themselves when they're a bit older.

Social media has rotted everyone’s brains. One year olds aren’t making memories and do not need elaborate celebrations. Redditards screeching that it’s unfair that Alex (an adult woman with relatively little time left alive) would have a bigger birthday celebration than a BABY are just showing their ass online.

In my corner of “American Culture”, baby birthdays are generally low-key events if they are observed at all. You stick the baby in a high chair, put a cupcake or slice of cake on the tray, and take some cute photos while they proceed to smash it to hell. It’s essentially no different than a sensory activity for the baby and you get some photos to stick in the family album. The baby gets cleaned up and goes down for their midday nap and then everyone else has lunch and hangs out. It’s more of a milestone for the parents that they made it through one of the most challenging and transformative years of their lives.

There are two groups of folks I know in the US who do super lavish parties for one-year-olds: Social Media influencer-wannabe types who do it for the photos, and Mexicans. Although the Mexicans generally do huge parties for just about anything (no judge, sounds fun), and their one-year-old parties are more like a reason for a huge family get together like @blue gopher snakes noted. But they are huge parties.

Hahahahaha wtf is going on here? These people are genuinely retarded.
Obviously this is gross abuse, no spoon and NO SASH?! Scarred for life...

OOOORRRRR, the kid is turning fucking one and the only people you throw this party for is the adults attending? Reddit, not even once.
