Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

As much as I like this series, I'm a little tired of the tone most of the many Chris Chan documentaries take. The music, the narration, it seems more fit for a story about the troubled life of a serial killer rather than an amusing manchild.

Seriously man, BlueSpike was a punk kid, but Chris-Chan was no angel either. Don't let the piano music fool you, if Chris-Chan had the power to knock out Adam Stackhouse back then and steal the trip for a chance to hook up with Megan, he would have.

We're not dealing with a ethically good person here. Wait until the documentary starts covering the Ivy/Vanessa Saga, or even the latter half of Liquid Chris. Both instances where he had a chance to walk away and be the better person. Both times failing miserably. In the case of Ivy, we get to see what Chris actually would be like if he were in a real relationship with a woman. It's the most serious e-girlfriend relationship he has and the way he acts in it speaks volumes about the kind of man he'd be.

Weens bullying trolls. What a time to be alive.

Oh I know Chris is no angel. I just think Marvin dickrides old bluey a fair bit, that's all.

I don't think anyone is defending CWC here - pretty sure we all know he's a horrible person in his own rights.

However, when you get people claiming Bluespike's behavior can be overlooked because he was just a dumb kid at the time really does come off as people defending a particularly disturbed individual who doesn't deserve to be defended, considering the lengths he went through for his own personal amusement.

Kids can be cruel, sure - but it takes an especially fucked up shithead to derive pleasure from forcing people to cause physical harm/pain to themselves for their own personal shits and giggles.
Don't underestimate what a 13-year-old is capable of when a bunch of his slightly older peers have been cheering him on and engaging in similarly bad behavior.

that's because this documentary is drawing dumbfuck weens and newfags out of the woodwork who then act as if this decade-old shit happened two weeks ago and shit on that poor traumatized child bluespike to see who can get the most brownie points

it's almost like people want to bitch about old trolling because it's less work than trying to stop the new idea guy from making chris insane and scamming him out of his money

Bluespike - traumatized? Who are you trying to kid?

Maybe people are shitting on the 'poor traumatized' Bluespike in order to make it adamantly clear that the BlueSpike level of sadistic trolling isn't something to be aiming for when it comes trolling CWC.

I personally think that this sort of tone is ideal for a subject such as Chris - GenoSamuel is covering things in a lot more detail compared to most of the other CWC documentaries out there, and so an analytical tone is basically required for a project of this size.

Bluespike was interesting because you have Chris with full blown autism and a 13 year old child with an autism-like level for empathy. Also how he could not tell that the voice between his love and her brother was the same speaks volumes about just how clueless CWC really is.

Many of the Troll Sagas have the running themes of self-improvement, growing up and becoming a better person. Things Chris ignored in his pursuit of China, Fame and Vidya.

The intellectually honest opinion is that if you're going to troll an autistic manchild, at least do it in a way that doesn't actually harm him and will try to make him grow up and leave his bubble. You're fucked up if you're going to be cruel to someone whose life is already miserable.

The thing about self-improvement is even if Chris does the exercise, work, cleaning, etc., it will never achieve the China/Nintendo contract/whatever is being dangled as a prize by the catfish/troll. So what if the lesson Chris interprets is the futility of trying?

A buff Chris in his prime with a full time job may have got him a girlfriend, she would be ugly and crazy but china is china.

No they're fucking doing it for attention and easy asspats. If it was a few people I'd agree with you but it's a bunch of fuckers between here and the comment section of that video.

Calling it now, these same people are most likely the same ones calling places like anytime fitness to get chris banned.

Also Chris didn't have a gun to his head when he was "sadistically trolled", he could've fucked off and cut his losses (the easiest low-effort thing to do) but didn't because he was dumb enough to think china was being dangled in front of him.

Idea guy stuff is arguably worse because it fucks with Chris's head and perceptions while his life is going to shit without interference.

Also I think @Marvin or somebody said at one point that all the phone sex and frustrations from talking to Chris caused bluespike to snap and go on the trip he did during the Julie Reveals Herself call. And that was a video call between the two of them, so watching chris shove his medallion up his butt definitely scarred him.

To Chris, that PSN account was tantamount to what a normal person’s bank account. As a neet, losing that is losing close to everything. Imagine if someone said “hey I have your bank account, stocks, and social security number. I’ll give it back to you if...”. A more rational person would call the police or something but in the heat of the moment you’d fight for that.
