Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

I just finished Parts 9 and 10 of the documentary. Even though I knew a lot of the legend surrounding this phase of CWC trolling, I'd never actually sat through more than a couple of minutes of the various Mumble chats.

To me, the cringiest part of the trolling wasn't the Bluespike/Julie stuff; it was when Sarah May "found out" about Julie and threatened to kill herself. Even if I gave Sarah May the benefit of the doubt and argued that her intent was to try to force Chris to make a decision between her and Julie, threatening suicide is still a terrible thing to do.

While Chris certainly didn't have an adult's understanding of death back then (and, to be fair, I don't think the current incarnation does, either), he was also far too immature and emotionally incapable of dealing with a topic such as suicide. (Which became painfully apparent from the "afterschool special" way in which he tried to help convince Sarah to stay alive.)

So, as much as I hate to climb my pulpit, I think threatening suicide to Chris in real time was far more potentially damaging to him that asking him to shove a clay medal up his ass.

I blame Clyde's narrative for what Max did. Stupid fucking lie about Ryan Cash committing suicide. It wasn't that wise to bring kids in on this in the first place.

I respect Max now, because I always give the "Saga Runners" the benefit of the doubt. But I just feel like Max's behavior could have been prevented if Clyde wasn't making up bullshit like a kid brother dying over a poor quality doodle comic.

Is Geno releasing these every two weeks now?
Apparently so.

I don't care how long he takes, as long as he keeps making them.
In my opinion, this is best attempt at creating a Chris documentary. A single documentary movie could never do it. It had to be a series like this.
Due to it's length though, it will probably only ever be watched by Chris nerds.

For a moment there, I felt bad for Chris about that date. For a few moments there, he genuinely believed a decent-looking woman was interested in him, only for her to be "taken away".

i think that just speaks volumes about how important & high up he sees himself. it's like that one friend that will have a few drinks in a club & then try and woo the prettiest woman in there, sure it can pay off if you're charismatic, funny and don't smell terrible, but sadly chris has none of these to any great effect

He did get touchy with her a bit that it was kind of cringy. Then again, every time he gets touchy, mushy, sexy, it makes me cringe.

listening to the "date" i cant help but feel so bad for bob, he got so much done in his life and ended up with a son who got cucked by a man in a pickle suit
Bob seems like the kind of guy who would be fun to have over for coffee.

The whole Emily and Pickleman incident was funny in a mean kind of way.

The part where she agrees with him that he should behave himself by keeping his hands to himself really makes me wonder what he was doing outside of that shoulder touch (the one point where she gave her blessing). I mean, was he being all touchy/feely on her past that shoulder touch or was her agreement to his statement a warning that he should avoid being touchy feely?

I think it's funny only because of just how obvious it was that it was a setup - but CWC was utterly oblivious to the fact.

Is Emily a man? Her voice is deeper than BlueSpike's. I wonder if that's why she doesn't want her pictures online, hmm...

You wasn't supposed to reveal my true form to people!

It's always my time to shine. But seriously, it's surreal(or maybe weird) that people are talking about this almost a decade later.

He kept pressing his knee against mine for the entire exchange with Bob, despite turning away from him when he would do it or pressing his arm against mine. Memories are flooding back...I remember when we initially sat down Chris very deliberately scooted the chair as close to me as possible, despite the chairs already being a reasonable distance from one another. But then he tried kissing me at the end which is what I was mostly scolding him about.

edit: I also want to apologize for anyone who suffered listening through to the audio and hearing my constant awkward laughing and "ums."

Part of me genuinely feels bad for you in that situation; because no one deserves to have that kind of unwanted attention forced upon them. But, didn't you expect him to try something like this on you when you set this meeting up? Also, did you know that Bob was going to be in attendance?

And, just out of morbid curiosity - did he try to kiss you before or after he asked to kiss your cheek?
